So, you too wish to Helldive in Japanese? Go to Settings -> Accessibility, change the speech language to 日本語, then you just wait for steam to download the pack. Reboot helldivers2 and go for it. This is on PC of course, dunno about PS.

I've quit all except Watchers. And I'm getting close to quitting it. May try some sim games.

The reason i play solo, when the game becomes unpopular and all this garbage kids are gone, i may or may not enable my lobby to play, i play effectively using my own build, im not a meta slave i just want to be self sufficient, i don't care how much time that will cost, i just want to beat the missions on my terms, shield and laser is tard mode.

Meta Helldivers = Railgun crutch bois that can now not even finish a challenging difficulty because their mouse brains cannot adapt.

I like the rail gun because is some situations it’s just satisfying to bop with. I do not like the shield generator (and I play with light armor) because I’d rather just be evasive with short range weapons, jump pack is fun. When I used to play Destiny 2, blink (teleportation) Warlock was my main build rather than beefing up on resilience. Breaking ankles is too fun.

I've literally never had anyone complain about someone's loadout other than laughter and 'are you sure?' when using something obviously useless. People can whine about 'meta this' and 'meta that' but if you're taking a damn eagle strafe on Helldive you are not gonna be effective. The whole tryhard kick thing seems like a strawman to rally around more than an actual problem... But then again, I don't really play Helldive difficulty that much so maybe things are worse there. I've never been kicked nor have I ever seen anyone get kicked for not using a meta loadout. And even if I ever do - who gives a fuck? It's a co-op game with a shit ton of players. Boo hoo, I wasted 10 seconds hitting quickplay and getting into a hellpod before I got kicked by a sweat. It will only take 10 more to find another game. If anything, it just prevented you from playing with the tryhards you obviously don't like... It is absolutely baffling to me that instead of wanting everything to be equally powerful, the community consensus is they want everything to be equally mid... I'm playing Helldivers, not Dark Souls. I want to fuck shit up, Starship Troopers style. Nobody was soloing Helldives just because they used the railgun or the breaker - they just used those weapons because they were slightly better at it than the rest, in combination with effective tactics. My worry is that now, any stratagems or combos discovered to be 'good' and therefore become 'meta' will just get nerfed by the devs until everything is as useless as the damn Gas Strike.

You can play with shield, I definitely do, you can use a railgun, it was fun while it lasted. But don’t enforce a meta on others.

My favorite color is orange so i wear the orange armor. Also i like guns that go brrt so i usually bring an lmg.

You can kill the Helldivers, you can nerf the gear. But there will ALWAYS be a META. That’s kinda the point. What we needed were more anti-heavy options, not for the railgun to loose its heavy-pen on safe mode.

I feel like this needs to be said. When people are attacking the meta slaves. IF you are using the Railgun and Shield generator and are able to play the game without making 8 small youtube videos about it that praise the railgun. If you can only use railgun and shield to beat helldive difficulty. IF you used the excuse of that build to boot people from your game. That's who we are targeting when we say meta slaves. When you go out of your way to watch a youtube video and they find the combo for the most broken build. And you spam that over and over without trying to do anything else you are the problem with the game. The point of the game is to make your own builds and experiment. Not to say if you use a build like that you are bad but if that's all you can do and you try to enforce it on everyone else it is a problem.

every time i hear someone talk about the meta of the game, I cringe so hard at their fundamental missing the point of Hell Divers 2.
