We drove 6 hours from Canada to attend this event. Was it worth it? Absolutely!!! Met all the UA-camr/ influencers I knew of or watch. Got a chance to play with all the new and up coming blasters such as the momentum and seagull. I personally spent a little too much at their garage sale, but now I have 10 Tachis in my armory. The other deals were amazing! See if y’all can spot any familiar face...

This project started when I was on lockdown earlier in February after contracting Covid. I merged a stryfe and centurion together and placed a dual stage brushless set up. Also in there is a solenoid to push the darts. The system is compatible with both and short darts thanks to its pusher set up.

    Hey there, I recently came across a post you made regarding the green Mercedes uses in "Bates Motel"... I'm the owner that purchased the one that was auctioned from Universal Studios back in 2017... I've been trying to find out what the name of the color is.... and hopefully the paint code.. I would love to hear about the work you did on the car..

    • @atlasunit22
      @atlasunit22 Рік тому

      Happy Victoria Day! I was wondering when someone would get to me about this car. I am the body tech that did the repairs to the cars. Yes, there’s were two of these cars. One was an original green that need a touch up the first time. The second time the company needed a second one painted to match. The third time they came in, it had lighting/camera equipment damage to the driver side of the vehicle. Specifically the fender and front door. As for color code, that’s gonna be a holy grail to find. If you can find the original one we worked on, it should have matching vins that decode the color. I’m gonna assume you have the second one that they brought in for a color change. Chances are, the owner of the first one that was brought in probably still owns it. The general thing we do to match color is to take a “camera shot” of the paint and have the computer come up with a “mix ratio” with modern paint. Not sure what else I can tell you? Pretty sure you’ve probably seen the picture of me posing with the car about 12 years ago. Btw, I have other photos of this car pre color swap and post I think.

    • @joerobinett2483
      @joerobinett2483 Рік тому

      @atlasunit22 Thanks for getting back to me.. much appreciated! I thought about doing the computer scan.. but as you know, it's never perfect... I do own the second car... I even hired a investigator a few years ago to see if they could get any info.. but unfortunately he had no luck... I saw your pictures with you and the car...which is how I found you.. lol Do you think Maybe the body shop would still have those records?

    • @atlasunit22
      @atlasunit22 Рік тому

      @@joerobinett2483 there is a slim possibility. The shop I worked for at the time is and still probably owned by the same two guys from before. So they’ll probably remember the cad because it was a unique movie car. But as for the color code, it might in their paint clmputer data base from the first time they painted the car. And that’s only if didn’t switch paint brands in between then and now. If your gonna get the car painted, do it at a body shop, and the color match usually pretty good as long as your at a reputable body shop. But if you just want the “color” code for posterity, go ahead and contact the shop they did the work at. They might be able to pull info on the car, but most records are purged every 5 years. I think the car came to our shop on reccomendations from one of the Mercedes dealership in the area (the shop was doing a lot of Mercedes dealer ship Body repair at the time). Best of luck. Contact me anytime on the internet with this handle. If you want the pre color swap pic I have it too

      @@payloadperformance9706 Mercedes runs 14.2v when the charging system is at idle and 14v dead when the charging system is on a load. So that's the minimum what this fan should be able to handle constantly for hundreds of hours. More modern cars with a fuel saving map on the charging system, pump up the voltage up to 14.8v when off the gas and coasting and even up to 15v after a cold start below freezing temperatures. So don't worry for the fan on a higher voltage which will significantly improve the output
