We head up to The North West of Scotland for some Landscape Photography and it doesn't get much better than this! I join The Nowhere Photographer and Bri Barnham on this 3 day adventure. Along the road passing Advereck Castle, and the castle itself in the morning, the coastal location we visited was Achmelvich beach. Thanks for watching! Landscape Photography Harsh Light and A Heatwave!
I had this lens, loved it and inexplicably sold it for the 24-120. Now considering getting it again and selling the 24-120. That extra 80mm is really useful
@@johnlinney8685 I miss mine, mistreatment ended in it being a shelf ornament! Definitely the next lens I will buy (again)
@@TheMoodChasingPhotographer I’m not really a landscape photographer but i do some. I’m probably better off going with the 24-200 as it gives me a good focal range without going for a second longer lens. I don’t like carrying loads of lenses as they give me too many choices!
@ it’s sharp as you’ll ever need! I can’t remember the last time I shot below f8 so it’s a golden bit of kit in my humble opinion! 😎
@@TheMoodChasingPhotographer update, I’ve ordered a 24-200 and have got my 24-120 on for sale.
@ oooh if you want to trade for z prime lenses let me know! Are you on instagram?
Great video but I pissed myself laughing when you first thought you had lost your tripod leg (2m 40sec) 😂😂😂😂
😆😆😆 you’ll get real vlogs from me, that’s a promise, good the bad and the lost tripod legs! 😆😆😆 thanks so much for your time watching and leaving me a hello, means the world! Hopefully see you in the next one! 😎📸
Nice sharing & Like 9 ✅, keep it up 🎬📸♻️

Cheers my mate. Had such a blast. Look forward to it matey. So much of the UK I’ve not been too as well so plenty to go at!
Alchemist Images here - - Stunning footage - good to see you and your photo crew in action. :-)
Hey, thanks for the comment means a lot and thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it, hoping for a foggy woodland next time! 😍
That beach is absolutely stunning 😍
it was epic!!! :)
Hi mate, great vid. Couldn’t agree more in regard to not getting the camera out, the fails definitely out weigh the wins. It’s all about the drive and motivation to get out there in my opinion.
Ey up matey! I was literally thinking I’d love to see you in one of these videos for a little run around a woodland with some tips and tricks something like that! 😎 hopefully bump in to the old oak over the weekend!
may God bless u
you too my friend!
Amazing sharing , keep it up 🎬✅
Thank you 🙏
Great video, cracking images 🖤
Thank you very much, and thank you for taking the time really appreciate it! 🙂
Amazing catch 🎬📸
Thank you!
Wonderful catch 📸, I wanted to ask you what lens do you use? 🤔
Thank you! I’ve quite a few but the one that spends most of its time on my camera is the z 24-70f4 🙂👌
Was was literally there yesterday morning! Got a great shot of sunrise.
@@StuartSutherland-1 oooh really! I bet it looked insanely good at sunrise!
If you have good tools then you can achieve your goal, but practice is also important, I liked your exploration and the shots from the 'Nikon Z7 II' 📸, the view was perfect 12:40, a subscription from me +🔔 & Like 31👍, keep it up 🎬✅🌳
Very nice to hear from you, and thanks so much for taking the time to reach out and spend time watching the video, it’s really appreciated, look forward to seeing you in the next video! 🙂

Haha!!! Good times! Thanks matey hope life is treating you well me ol Matey
@TheMoodChasingPhotographer it's not to bad buddy getting by as you do glad your well lad be good for a catch-up in the near future
😂 love the humour again. 12 minutes is plenty for a video I think and works well here. Keep em coming mate ❤
Cheers my mate! Just finding that sweet spot for people. I did a little poll on instagram & most people agree with you 12 minutes seems to be the sweet spot! 🙂
Correction to the shot of the bridge, i actually show a long exposure shot around 30 seconds she was. :) There is also another episode, i think we have enough footage for at least one or two more from this trip, if you want to keep up dont forget to hit the subscribe and bell button so you don't miss the adventures. Thanks for watching and see you in the next one!
Assynt and Coigach areas are stunning, I would recommend it to anyone, photographer or not!
It’s a beauty isn’t it! I’ve just finished the second video this morning so I’m tempted to throw that one out very soon! 🤓
That Danson reference made me chuckle
@@terryroberts910 😂😂 I’m sure he won’t mind! lol 😂
You had me laughing on the Apple comment 😂
😆
Nice lot of image. If you don't mind me asking, how do you know Bri?
We met up for the first time on this trip & mainly through insta! 🙂
Loved watching this mate! Great photos and a very well produced film. No faff, straight to the point! 👏
Should get more chatty as the videos progress, early days getting into the flow haha! Thanks for watching my matey
Beautiful. Can’t wait for the next one
@@charliewhite4798 thanks Charlie the next one gunna mega!!!!

@@Ketodadreviews thanks matey, it’s sooo good to be back!
Awesome video love it
@@michaelhines8790 thanks Mike!! 🙂
Nice one buddy, what a great wee road trip 😉👍
Honestly mate, was the best! I think the next one were a bit more chatty, a quiet start as I settled in to recording again! That flipping tank of a vlogging camera needs to change haha
@ Great to meet you, mate laughs from start to finish were had by all. Looking forward to seeing your future videos. 😉👍
@@BriBarnhamPhotography you and Adrian had me in hysterics haha! Let me know where you’ll be in the lakes tomorrow just in case I think I can brave the chill lol 🥶
@ See you there 😂😉👍 Borrowdale Valley
Omg James this video is beautiful. I’ve never wanted to venture up to Scotland, I didn’t think it was worth the trek but you have shown how absolutely gorgeous it is! I wanna go now ❤ Amazing shots 😍😍
you'll properly love it Jo!!!!
Great vid mate. Love the drone footage
Thanks matey, first day was a bit wobbly getting back in to the swing of it! glad you enjoyed my mate!
Hi, we met at this location, I hope you came away with some good shots!
@@highlands.photography I think we came away happy chappies! I’ve not managed to get to this morning yet so not even looked! I’m working on the video though so that should be good fun! It was great to bump into you, hopefully we will cross paths again! 🙂
Best place in the world ❤
🙂 sure it!
Which camera body is this please?
This is a Nikon z7 II :-)
Great video! You handled that broken screen well, I think I would of freaked out! Love that shot at 7:00. Subbed.
Really appreciate the words matey! Hoping to get things going with less mishaps, honestly though, I think my UA-cam channel should be called the blunder photographer sometimes haha
Nice video. Really unlucky😵
Thank you my friend. Keep calm and carry on ey! 😎
Wait for the weekend!
@@cornishdiaspora918 bet it will be lovely!
My favourite place in the world!
Mine too!
Heart goes out to you. The video off your iPhone looked good in UA-cam. Have you tried using that for your channel?
Yeah I noticed the same! Might be on to something here! Got some epic stuff to capture over the next few days so hopefully we will get something. I’ll give the iPhone a go a little bit more, it’s 100% good for reels and shorts! 🙂
Love this view
It’s the best isn’t it! 😎
Mirrorless camera bodies evolved from tough DSLRs, but have a flimsy flip out screen from a pocket camcorder. It's as if the professional photography heritage and the video components are barely on speaking terms.
@@borderlands6606 the same can be said for older glass I have some old fx lenses and they’re unstoppable!
Unlucky, but at least you were out. Went to Brid this morning for sunrise and the wind certainly got interesting, as did the sky. It would be good to meet up in 2025 for a shoot, I've a seed of a road trip idea to North Wales for some major mood you may be interested in also?
Oooh gosh I’ve not been to brid for a while! I’m always always up for road trips my mate, especially to Wales!!!
К сожалению, искажает геометрию на границах кадра
Which Dale were you up shooting back down?
Hi Tim! Thanks for watching buddy, I should have said in the video apologies. This would be the lovely Glaisdale up from the high moor. Not from Glaisdale Rigg but right at the back, if that makes sense 😂
Yep…I am in Thirsk so the Moors are close👍
Who do you think you are . . . . . Me 😂 I broke two lenses in 5 days ffs. Hurt the wallet!
Oh gosh. Yes gear doesn’t last very long around me either I think we’d make for a combined expensive photography trip if we went together haha. Very very sorry for your lens loss Paul, lenses, they hurt the most especially those 2.8’s or prime telephotos! 😢
@ both happened during vlogs 😂 embarrassing moments. I break stuff all the time just careless I guess. Good luck
@ just had a nosey look forward to keeping up with your outings! 🙂
@ thanks. I’ll now try NOT to break anymore equipment 😂
