So from what I'm understanding Charlie went to the living world in human disguise and met Al and loved him since.
More like she reminds alastor of a girl who he may have unknown fallen for even, after learning he was a serial killer and cannibal she still accepted him. But she dead alastor ate her corpse to always keep her alive with him and now Charlie brings him back to that time when he wasn’t alone. But that’s just my mind at work.
