    Hello and Happy New Year! This morning I had these installed by Tesla Service, but I changed my mind (because these flaps are huge and I really don't like to see them) so I would like to remove and revert back. The problem is that Tesla service didn't give me the old exagonal nuts and I am not sure if I can use the ones that they fitted now, if I remove the flap... Any suggestions please? Thanks 🙏

    Bad test, wrong conclusion. You are only testing young modulus of your resins. Fiberglass elastic deformation limit by density (specific) is x10~x20 higher, impossible conclusion on neither traction yield strength fiber nor benefit of a particular woven pattern, because youre resine reach the plastic deformation area while yours fibers are far below elastic limit, you need synchronise the e-limit of the two materials

    My car (kinda old) uses a TX-71 remote. I lost the original and bought the same on ebay, but when I try to pair it, it doesn't work... Do I need to clear the code in the remote? This remote has only two buttons, and the car should open/close with the same button.

    Not sure this is the right way to install these - placing mud flap on top of well lining creates a pocket for salty water to flow down and accumulate between the flap and body of the car.

      @Mohammed AL-wadeai. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! It is common for carbureted engines to exhibit slight vibrations during cold starts, particularly until the engine coolant reaches an optimal temperature of 90°C. My engine also experiences some difficulty starting in the morning. However, I utilize the choke, releasing it gradually to regulate the engine speed effectively, which helps minimize vibrations. Pare o scula destul de compacta si usoara in acelasi timp pentru plaja de putere oferita, respectiv 350 NM. Pentru o roata obisnuita de auto sunt necesari 120- 150 NM, sunt sigur ca e ce trebuie mai ales daca iti place sa mesteresti singur pe la masina. Hai sa vedem ce mai are HYCHIKA de oferit!

    Hi, do you know how it would work to suck up washing water from a car's upholstery?

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts Місяць тому

      @laluisamary. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! To be honest, I don't think this model is ideal for that purpose. It's great for vacuuming dry dirt and works perfectly for pulling water from a bowl or bucket using the sponge filter. However, for extracting water from upholstery, I believe you'll need a more powerful vacuum. Alternatively, you can modify a standard vacuum cleaner by adding a buffer tank to ensure the water stays contained. If you're interested, let me know in the comments, and I can make a video explaining the process. If you found this answer helpful, please consider subscribing to the channel if you haven’t already-it really motivates me and helps a lot! Plus, a new video featuring another vacuum cleaner will be available soon!

      @asdf154. First of all, thank you for your comment!!! At that time, we were working on a project at a nuclear power plant in Bulgaria, where the safety standards weren't as high. For example, the hotel didn’t have smoke detectors or automatic fire sprinklers. I stayed calm and kept myself busy that evening by manufacturing this polystyrene cutter. Looking back, it would have been funny if those safety measures had been in place. I imagine a cold shower coming from the ceiling, unexpectedly. @PAFixandCrafts 2 місяці тому

      @mfanfikilekhomo1688. First of all, thank you so much for your comment! I appreciate your patience in waiting for my reply. The screw was loosened to allow the cylinder to fully retract, creating enough space for the new brake pads, which are significantly thicker than the old, worn-down ones. It’s not necessary to re-tighten the screw, as it will automatically adjust when the handbrake is used for the first time. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! Yes, in this case, the sharpening stone attached to the drill performed better. Excellent comparison....straight to the point, no fuss. Two great drills!!

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 3 місяці тому

      @typhoontim125. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! In my opinion, these drills offer excellent value for the price. The smaller one is particularly useful for making more precise holes due to its lower impact power. Each tool fulfills the purpose it's designed for, as I mentioned in the video-everything depends on what you need it for. For DIY projects, hobbies, and personal use, I highly recommend them. If I made a living using them, doing daily heavy-duty work, I might opt for a different brand, but this one strikes a great balance between quality and affordability for its intended use. The issue is that many people expect high-end performance from budget tools, which isn’t realistic. If you found video useful, please consider subscribing to the channel if you haven’t already. Your support really helps and motivates me to keep creating content!

      @PAFixandCrafts 3 місяці тому

      @KamranGee-w1t. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! I understand exactly what you're talking about, and it seems to be an issue specific to newer models that come as standard or basic versions. I have a Skoda Octavia 4, which I bought in February this year, and I’m facing the same issue. Since it’s a base model, it doesn't include wiring for the door lights. There is an option to create a circuit from the fuse box, but since my car is still under warranty, modifying it would void the coverage. In the meantime, I'm considering purchasing door projectors that run on their own batteries. I’ve seen a version that lasts about a month before needing a recharge. While it's not ideal, it’s my best solution for now. However, if you have access to a car electrician, they could help set up a circuit through the fuse box. Do you mind me asking the process of removing the piece from the mould?

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 3 місяці тому

      @danielpluckrose8994. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! Unfortunately, I didn’t record this particular process, but it’s fairly straightforward. Generally, I slightly loosen the flange to create space for the compressed air gun to fit between the part and the mold, then I blow a significant amount of compressed air. The part usually comes off almost instantly-assuming the wax and polyvinyl alcohol were applied correctly. It’s crucial to consider how many curvature part have; the more there are, the more challenging it can be to release the part. Also, the catalyst percentage must be optimal. If it's too high, it can cause a violent reaction, generating excess heat and forming tension points in the laminate, which can lead to the part sticking, especially in the corners. If you don’t have access to a compressor, you can use a rubber hammer to gently tap the part until it loosens. Then, insert wedges between the flange and the part to help it come off completely. What's the lidl part number?

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 4 місяці тому

      @kyiannos. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! This is the item number 100363956, and it costs approximately 20 euros, including shipping. There is a more affordable version available for around 10 euros, but it doesn't include wireless charging. I personally recommend this model, though it's important to note that the charging speed may be slower than with a standard charger. However, I find this charger incredibly useful, especially during extended periods without electricity. With several accumulators providing over 60 amps of capacity, I can keep my phone and other devices charged, even if there's no power for a week. Thanks for this video. Found this quite an easy job. Just used a T30 Torx Screwdriver, 2 screws on top and 1 underneath accessible from the access panel on the front of the wheelarch liner by locking the steering wheel. I think it took me about 15 to 20 minutes to change the bulbs in each headlamp. Hardest part was lying on my back to unscrew the bottom one, its tight but manageable.

      @JonJon-fu8qz. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! I’m aware of that small access cover, but unfortunately, when the wheel arch on my car broke, I rebuilt it using fiber glass, and didn’t include that access hole. Because of this, I couldn’t film that particular version. However, I’ve received many comments explaining this method, and I’m glad people can read about this alternative way to change the light bulb. In the future, I plan to create a new video where I’ll also showcase this approach. If you found this video helpful, I’d love for you to subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already. @leonservolino. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! While this wasn't presented in the most professional setting, I plan to conduct a much more precise test using a professional test stand soon. The samples are ready, though I haven't had time to prepare them just yet. But rest assured, it will make for a very interesting episode! Hi, do you have any video on how to remove the plastics on the back to change the speakers? Thanks

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 4 місяці тому

      @Alicia48818. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! I performed this operation once before, but unfortunately, I didn’t film it at the time since it was before I started uploading videos to UA-cam. I do plan to remove the rear part again soon, as I’m also dealing with a minor issue-a speaker that’s distorting. I’m not sure if there are particles on the membrane or if it needs to be replaced. So, I’ll need to open the back again, but I can’t say for certain when that will happen. But what I can promise you is that I will write to you when I upload this video! If you found my anwer helpful, I’d love for you to subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already. Your support truly motivates and inspires me to keep creating content!
