Absolutely not ...biz class should not be allowed in Concorde Room. Honestly, any flight under 2.5 hours should not have access to lounges even if in business class.

Ohh dear I am doing that exact trip just before Christmas for a wedding. Normally I would use AVIOS and not care about the frills, but this time I am contemplating buying a club Europe ticket from London City instead of LHR, it costs £181 which isn't bad. Only problem there isn't a BA lounge in LCY. It does have the benefit of being able to more than one piece of luggage in the hold without any extra cost.

I took that same flight on the 9th of July! I was quite disappointed a month later with the temporary lounge as well, hopefully the new BA lounge at YVR will be in operation soon. It is also a shame the club world seats from Gatwick are still the old style ones.

1979 my last flight with BA BOS-LHR said never again, and will maintain this stance. Seems they never learn.

We have flown from Gatwick and used the BA lounge there a few times. It's always been a great experience with plenty of seats available and plenty of fresh food and drink.

As a first class flyer on BA, I give a hard 'no' to allocating space in the Concorde Lounge to biz class flyers. While I understand and sympathize with biz class passengers, what BA should do is expand and clean up their business lounges (and reconfigure its weird biz seating on its transcontinental jets). Then again, if biz class passengers want to use the Concorde Lounge, all they have to do is buy first class tickets.

What a prefect time to view this video, those BA Lounges in T5 (North + South) are simply not fit for purpose. There are normally queues to get into both, when you do get in, there is never ever a clean table for you to sit down at, we take wipes with us to clean the seats and tables. The staff are absolutely awful (apart from one young guy last week who was excellent and helped take away empty plates etc and was very pleasant). A few months ago, both NORTH + SOUTH lounges were overflowing and they let us into the FIRST CLASS lounge. They need to expand quickly to cater for all the passengers and one of the reasons the lounges are always full is the constant and daily amount of delays + cancellations from BA, people are in there for hours upon hours, they cant even manage their own airport, which T5 is, it's basically a BA airport. Not once have I ever seen a Manager/Manageress overseeing the lounges, BA simply don't care about service levels anymore, its all about profit margins. Last week we had to put up with a cancelled flight on the way to our destination and also the same on the way back . . . . Lucky for us, they put us on a business flight direct from Amsterdam to our home city and so we got to use the KLM lounge. What a complete difference to BA lounges, staff were welcoming, lounge was huge, plenty of seating, food was great and they have a bar where they actually serve you whatever drink you want. Their onboard food was excellent and much larger portions than BA's business class meals. That's another thing that annoys me about BA business class, sometimes they run out of, what would be, your first choice meal. They are an absolute shambles of a company and I will only use them when it's the only option.

I flew BA from LHR to Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago and by far the oldest cabin crew that I have ever flown with. I used BA as I had a voucher to use up from 2021 due to a flight being cancelled due to Covid but by far they are a shadow of what they used to be.

Did you complain? I hope someone gets in touch and gives you a refund. It sounds like it's not worth the extra money 😢
