I use my Quest 3 outdoors and I only have tracking problems on the controllers in the summer at midday under too much direct sunlight. In the mornings or afternoons it doesn't cause those problems and works perfectly.

In the camera settings (open the camera, in the top right corner there is a settings icon), set the Bitrate to the highest possible value (that's the information about how much information/data will be stored in a picture) - it will improve the overall quality dramatically. I recorded with resolution 1024x1024, but you can set it to Full HD 1920x1080 to get even a better quality, but then image is a slightly cropped. If you want to achieve maximum field of view, set the image stabilization to low or none and resolution to 1024x1024. But feel free to try various settings and see what fits you best. agree, currently there are a bunch of better cameras for the money.. My YI 4K+ is still going strong, but would I buy this camera today? probably not.

@@mikelyo Are you saying the Akaso v50x is the right choice then? I've read and watched videos saying the 2023 version is worse than the original one. I'd like to buy an action cam for when I go out cycling, 100-150 euros is the budget! :)

​@@tommytx3769 I didn't have a chance to try the Akaso v50x camera but it looks really good on paper for the given price. However, on a bicycle, stabilization will be a very crucial and I think that at the price of 150 euros it will be very difficult to find a suitable camera. I might also try to look at an older second-hand GoPro camera

thanks bud! I've used 35mm grain stock footage on top of my main footage (try different blending modes and see what look best) and for halation you can use for example 'channel blur' effect (with blending mode 'Lighten') and play a bit with red blurriness to get the this effect

I'm not using the app so I don't know (maybe try to look in the settings in the app) but to switch between modes on the Hohem iSteady X you can use the gimbal buttons: 1. Press and hold shutter button (left button on the gimbal) 2. Now tap power button (right button on the gimbal) - 1 time for Pan/Tilt Follow mode - 2 times: Follow mode - 3 times: ALL Lock mode - 4 times: POV mode
