Agreed there have been way, WAY worse players to sign for United than Di Maria..but we felt under Van Gaal he was the worst taking into consideration the fee and the expectation and disappointment of the signing. Can you think of a worse signing under Van Gaal?

It seemed like madness to watch over the summer, but you’re right, this does seem like the only way for United to clean house and start again.

@ relegation could mean we get rid of the toxicity and play our youngsters and they develop better then return to the prem get a proper striker that actually wants to score and have a system like barcelona…our academy players look great tbh…

We are bad at the moment but relegation is a far fetch. However, Newcastle did actually get relegated under Ashley…Twice.

It’s a good point, and definitely a factor. But Ratcliffe and Ineos made the footballing decisions on Ashworth and ten Hag, and their continued cost-cutting exercise. Removing £40,000 per year from a charity seems completely malicious.

@@FergiesGumPodcast 100% agree. I think if they had gotten rid of the Glazer influence, maybe they could do better. For me at this point, I would love to see a Saudi group come in and clean house, Glazers first of all.
