Wonderful song imho. From album "Trampin'". Lyrics: Come my one, look at the world Bird beast butterfly Girls sing notes of heaven Birds lift them up to the sky Spring is departing Spring is departing Her thoughts are darting like a rabbit Like a rabbit 'cross the moon Shines of light over your hair As boys croon Pretty in pink It makes me wonder What could ever bring you down I see tears falli...

One of Madonna's "Music"'s demos. This includes extra lyrics too: "Boogie-Woogie do you like to tango? Boogie-Woogie do you like to be-bop? Boogie-Woogie do you like to mambo? Boogie-Woogie do you like my acid rock?"

Demo from American Life sessions [2002]. One of her best unreleased songs, imho!
Another classic of the 80's ❤
In an interview Peter Cetera said he loved working with Madonna.
I have always loved this song since back when it was on the album, I knew about it back then because I was rapidly following everything that Patrick Leonard was doing in the production for like her album and reading a lot of music trade magazines, and I found out about this production he was doing for Peter as well as Madonna hanging out with lots of different artists and shows at the time including Bryan ferry, which totally rocked my world. She has been around so many amazing favorites of mine and I wonder what we still haven't heard from studio sessions but this one is so fantastic! A true gem!
Hear this now after 35 years!<3
Man i love Patti
I'm a big fan of yours sir......from Chicago to your solo career.....
It sounds like it was originally written for Madonna, but not good enough for her albums
I fucking love this era!
Has that Patrick Leonard arrangement style
Sounds similar to “Who’s that girl”
*👍супер и привет от тренера по футболу!!!!!-!!!-!-!-!-!*
Doesn’t really sound like her
I wonder where the real Madonna went?
Sounds like Open Your Heart.
Girllll are you sure about that?
Yet doesnt appear on either madonnas or peters greatest hit album why because it didnt chart
No because it was never released as a single , only a album track
She just exposed the powers really controlling this world.
I was a Chicago fan, and then a Peter Cetera fan once he went solo, so this album was a must have for me back in the day. Easily one of my favorite unreleased tracks by him, so good.
Me too....I still listen to this cd.... pretty special...
Many Madonna fans dont know about this . I didnt until.i bought cd. This should've been a single.peter cetera feat madonna. Easy sell.
Would've fit so well on Like a Prayer album
Next to the awesome prince duet.lovesong.
One of my favorite " unreleased" songs ever!!
This is Peter's solo masterpiece and Patrick Leonards production adds the nice modern touch to what I think is Peter's best solo outing and of course Madonna's backing vocals is the icing on the cake
One of my all time favorite songs
Me too!
I wonder if madonna remebers having sung these beautiful tracks :
I had this on cassette, courtesy of Columbia House's 12 Cassettes for a Penny round about 1989. Strangely, perhaps mostly because CH didn't have the full foldout inserts of music shop-bought cassettes, I had no idea until searching for it 5 minutes ago that it was Madonna singing the "Scheherazade" part. But listening to it now, it sounds identical to the song I remember from 30 years ago. And that's definitely Madonna. Just looked at the description and see that Madonna appeared "on the song "Scheherazade" as 'Lulu Smith'." So maybe, even if I had had the money at the time to buy the full-price version back then, I still might not have known it was Madonna singing until 5 minutes ago.
Yeah I didn't know it was her either until many yrs later. I think the reason she used a fake name was because she not only did it as a favor to Peter & Patrick Leonard (the album producer that they both shared) but also because she also didn't want to get paid for the job.
Good music !😜
Twuelve years a go...I .....je! ....nothing.. my stuffs 😜
A Madonna and Peter Cetera fan loves this.
Hasta hoy me entero gratamente que Madonna hizo coros a Peter Cetera, dos grandes estrellas de la musica.
Nunca me enteré de ésta colaboración de Madonna ❗❗😯
Rare, only few people know about this song.
Lv lv lv this woman, this singer, this poet.
I would love to hear Peter and Madonna do an acoustic version of this
This and Miss You should have made the cut. I would have preferred these to I’m So Stupid and Mother/Father, though I like the live version of Mother/Father much more than the album version.
Have never heard this before, her voice matches the amazing guitar
GREAT SONG!
one of my faves
Madonna and peter should bring this song to life
I am just discovering Patti Smith. This is an awesome song
Wow. I simply love this.
Cerebro de Madonna: esto es muy bueno para la industria, dejemoslo fuera! <3
Just discovered this song... love it
Have you a link with all this songs for download?
How could any person thumb down this ?

Thank you!! This is one of my fav of Peter Cetera & it brings back so many good memories <3 Ann-Helén ~ Norway
Great song & my fav deep cut from the "One More Story" album. Especially like the Arabian sound mixed with Western which makes for a very interesting combination. I also think this would've made a great single.

<3 ♫ :*
God. I have come to be astonishingly jealous of my brother. He’s been alone for life. By a fluke, he has got a model to deeply love him in no time. How is that actually thinkable? He smiled and told me he obtained the Cupid Love System (Google it!) I wish someone amazing said that to me… I do not remember ever seeing him so cheerful. Kind of makes me sick.
I actually had the One More Story album on cassette which I bought at a thrift shop.
