I've want to include more international characters in my writing and I've been afraid of getting the accents wrong. This is so very helpful. I want to get the characters right so they seem authentic. I'll probably exaggerate the softened 'r' at the beginning, but it will become less noticeable as the POV characters become used to the accent. Even listening to you I'm mentally filling it in even as you're pointing out the difference. It's a very beautiful, musical accent. Thank you for making this video.

As a spanish speaker, it is easier to undertsand than scottish and british accents.
