I loved the topic if the video, the images, and narration but wasn’t wild about the amount of screen real eatate that was sacrificed to show it inside the faux TV. The idea itself is marvelous but maybe just for an intro and outro

I was the restoration artist for this project. I did all the faux finishes, cactus room ceiling, tea room, and all the furniture finishes and glazes. Enjoy.

Shopped there all the time in the 60s. Their candy dept. was where I discovered "Swedish Fish" ! Loved the men's department. Great fashion. No garbage !

Lived 500ft from a "secret gate" into Lake Hollywood. Eva Gardner was my neighbor and she showed me the path...Many long walks or runs around the lake....Snakes would sun on the pavement in the afternoon. Rarely saw a person. A real meditation sanctuary. Important contribution to my well-being for a few years.

Sunday's are the coolest days to drive within the city limits. These people are cozying their utopia for some coffee, brunch, or conversation, the Los Angeles way.

Times have changed in this little main drag of Santa Monica & La Brea, there appeared a shelter which is now on the norm a Target store, an apartment development round the city lights, coffee shops with the utopia's neighboring conversation. A nice touch of basilica for the world of musicians, artist, film people.

Kudos to whomever has kept this out of the hands of greedy developers.

When you tilted down to Angie Dickinson's star, I heard the theme to 'Policewoman', I haven't heard that since I was a kid; funny the things that stick in your head!

The Villa Carlotta apartments were dedicated in 1928. Louella Parsons lived there in apartment 105, and she held her wedding reception in the lobby. Edward G Robinson lived at the Chateau Elysee across the street that is now the Celebrity Center. Marion Davies had Julia Morgan create an apartment for her and William Randolph Hearst at the Los Altos apartments on Wilshire Boulevard. I'm the historian for the Villa and have the history of the other two buildings from the builder's daughter.

Fun fact: The Spanish house @6:33 was used in the film "Double Indemnity" starring Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck. There's so much Los Angeles history hidden on those streets.

In the ‘50’s I lived at 1237 N. Fuller St. my house backed into the tennis courts. From my window I could watch the players. On Saturdays I listened to great musicians rehearsing for Hollyywood Bowl appearances…loved the neighborhood!. .

I used to take Beachwood past the gates, turn left, go up Ledgewood. There's a five way intersection. Go have left, then up to Mulholland Drive,turn left. Go down the hill, just past the dog park turn left. You're at the back end of the lake with access to the trail. Even easier is Lake Hollywood Drive off of Barham. Go to the top, turn right. Down the hill is the lake.

Odd noises and rare ✨ stars in sky at Night. Things like best is just ability to go home and relax. Matthew Perry Quote Earth Quake on Left houses going up feels like gitter bug phone going off under your Feet. Had Dam been wider less sharp vibration to floor. Good Location out a lot busy. Not exactly Writer Friendly for indoor constant Living. Drove Red Porsche 911 narrow enough other Motorists Pass. Night always just get Town car home Safer. Just one true Hollywood Hills Stay. . Some days as I can be plain too long like boldly share. Older Porsche - Writer- Single- Good TV Times. Neighbors awful unless your paid house is only part time residence for You. Extended Fam wouldn't visit only drive by me. However I accomplished
