Do not learn drums. You might add them to all your beats.

just so you know all rights reserved apparently has no legal meaning lol
It’s just extra precaution. My beats are all covered under BMI. 👍
@@REST_ray i see. ironically, the music i make has pretty much zero legal protection other then the "default" unregistered copyright that everything has

For a person not using music theory, this is good. The only problem I can hear is that I can't cling into any rhythm or melody because everything sounds random and scattered. It's like I'm hearing previews of 5 songs in one video. Hope you take this into account.
yes! I kind of went for mood switches that keep the listener engaged. Could go multiple routes with this melody!
@@REST_ray Mood switches are great, but they usually come at a later stage so that you can develop one idea enough first, otherwise it can alienate listeners. Good music tho, keep it up (although do learn some theory because it is helpful in the longrun anyway)
@Logi_music you don't have to learn music theory
@@HalfBreadOrder i was just saying that it helps
@@HalfBreadOrder Music theory should be seen as a tool, not a skill. Sure, you can create music without it, but with at least a minimal knowledge of music theory, you can use it and make your music sound better. In the end, it's all in the guts.
when in doubt make a b section, thats usually what I do atleast
This is literally how I compose I've been doing this for years now and I literally just play notes until it sounds good
the first thing i did was skip to 3:12 lol
@@abstract_sucks ha
The quick melody at the end is too complicated and ends up sounding like you just randomly threw notes into the piano roll... Try to have a simpler melody or make it slower since it currently is overwhelming to listen to. You could also make it an arpeggio (a chord where all notes are played in quick succession, but not at the same time) as that could also help make it less confusing to listen to. If it is already an arpeggio, it moves around too much and some repetition could help make it sound better. Remember there's no incorrect way to make music and that trying out new things can help you grow as a musician, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to sometimes follow a bit of advice as it can really help speed up the learning process.
I agree, I think slowing down could help. As this is not a finished melody things like this are expected. Thanks for the feedback!
bet
I wish I could
effort and dedication leads you places, not theory. you're good
You should try and learn it even if you don't know it, and even if you don't understand anything it will be carved in your brain Listen to your favorite songs with an analyzing ear, and you will understand a lot of things
Cut at 00:13 feels off. Adjust the second part of he main riff.
I agree
from the third, it should be drop
Nothing interesting rhythmically but better than any song I’ve made before learning any theory. It’s good
Thanks for the feedback! Do you use FL Studio?
@@REST_ray bit late but i use musescore 4 more than fl despite musescore not being a daw
man this is fkn awsome🔥 can i ask which plugin do use for these orchestral sounds
