Started learning piano summer of 2019 and just trying to get better each day. Started learning making music with synth and drum machines in start of 2022 and have a love for the gadgets and tech.

Elektron Analog Four mkII sequences by Intellijel Metropolix Solo test
A short a quirky thing I made by letting the Metropolix Solo sequence two tracks on the Analog four. One bass track and one lead track and the other two tracks was internally sequenced on the A4 for the kick and snare. Super simple but was mainly just a test to see how it would work to sequence the A4 from Metropolix. ☺️

I could probably play around with this set-up for ages. Finding new sounds and rhythms all the time. This was mainly just to try out the Zen delay. An effect pedal I bought and sold a year ago and I have really missed it so I was very happy now when I found I very good deal on a second hand unit in great condition. Also I have not a much better understanding on what music I want to make with it...

Second thing I wanted to try with the Metropolix was to see how it would handle the Roland TB-03 and it really does an excellent job and I will never ever need to use the internal sequencer from the TB-03 again… not that j used it much since I never seem to remember how it works.. I’m still not very familiar with the Metropolix so stuff in this jam doesn’t sound perfect but still shows what it’...

First test of the Intellijel Metropolix Solo and I used it to sequence the excellent Roland S-1 synth. I realised that the Metropolix will need some time to learn but so far I really love it. Learning to chop the Amen break and create drum and bass is wicked fun as someone would probably had said in the end of the 90s. I loved drum and bass back then and have later realised that it was probably because It was common in the PlayStation 1 games I enjoyed so much at the time. Still love it and this is probably the closest I have ever come to make something myself. Love the Tracker mini...

More jamming on the A4. I was trying to dial in some sounds by myself but didn’t manage so well so i ended up choosing some presets that I have downloaded from Elektrons website. This is more of a softer vibe without any percussion and it takes some effort for me to do this but I really like it. I keep exploring the Digitakt 2 but even more so the Analog four mk2 that I really find fantastic especially to perform with as an instrument. I have never done anything live, or at least IRL, but if I did I would probably want to do it in this ☺️ #elektron #analogfour #digitakt2

I brought the Elektron Analog Four mkII with my to Spain on my holiday and don’t regret it one bit. Made this short jam after having a life session with this music and have to say I really like it. I’d snagged a Mini but I was going back and forth on sending it back from the Tracker + since I missed pads. Looks like you might have solved this debate since Mini! Quick question, is there a pad layout alongside the piano in AUM? If I could get a pad grid similar to the + for drums I won’t even look at the Tracker + anymore. Great vid, quick and gives exactly what I’ve been trying to find with a solid app.
Very happy to hear you found it useful, wasn’t sure if I just spoke to myself 😁 From what I know where is only a keyboard in AUM but there should be other apps you can use with pads. Even apps that will help with creating medic stuff. ☺️ Haven’t tried any of those but hear that this app might be good apps.apple.com/us/app/midi-poly-grid/id1633882803 Hope that helps ☺️
@@Bobo Great call, I'm a guitarist first and have recently gotten into hardware and synths, so melodies on a keyboard are still foreign to me. Great call, an app that can create melodies with arpeggios, various scales, etc. would be just what I need. Even just for inspiration to later tweak and make my own. The euclidean fills for notes in scale has been a blast, but I want just a bit more creativity into it. I'll get to playing. Thanks man!

Nice work. I bought PT+ first but then sent it back because the Mini was priced better. Mine should be to me soon. The knob and no pads don’t bother me so much. I do think having them both would be nice at the right price.
Sounds like a smart move, the mini is really cool since it’s so easy to just pick up and start making stuff in try go or wherever you are.

Nice groove ! I'm the opposite - got the Tracker + yesterday,i'm going to see if i need the Mini which was going to be my first acquisition but went for the + first.Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.Well done for a newbie player.

@@Bobo Yes shop around - got the + from Thomann as a B stock,also their price for the mini was the best i could find.Originally the mini got my attention because of size/portability but after watching some comparisons went for the +.Will probably find myself getting the mini but they look the bees knees to get results and have some fun !
@@twiglet2214 100% now with the feature that you can start the project on the Mini and continue working on it on the + means that ultimately you want to have both 😅

Hello! I don’t have the OP-Z now so can test it but I’m pretty sure it’s not possible since it probably neee to have the trigger active on the OP-Z to be able to use the effects. But you could most likely be able to record the sequence into the OP-Z and then use the trigger effects ☺️
