It's really not needed with the amount of -res i have, and when you pair meditation, cleansing, and prayer each of them "tick" faster so it takes care of any dmg that gets through to your health pool.

I've tried both. But Then you can't use spirit, or get the extra 50% dmg from the 10 facets.

Hey fyi, there's a next hit delay on nova so 63fcr vs 105fcr doesn't change damage output, it would only effect teleport speed. I don't have a cham in my armor for this build either. I was just playing around with options that didn't include Infinity. You can match the -res but you lose out on the extra dmg that this build provides. I'm aware of the generic self wield Infinity build. I can simply drop the jmod and frostburns for spirit and magefist to hit 105. I do appreciate you taking time out of your day to comment an article and hate on it. P.s. trading and rng has provided all this gear, and i don't care to "peacock" as you put it.

The gemmed facet armor, has dmg reduction which is essential for es builds. There's a method to my madness. With that being said with the combo of prayer/meditation/ and cleansing from my merc... res and dmg reduction really doesn't matter combined with the kill speed.

@@D2RGGBuilds this is absolutely a peacock attempt. The fact you have a JMOD is more than enough to prove that statement. It is insanely impractical to have that many 5/5 light facets and would require the average player to spend hours trading for those items or spending real money to afford them. Not everyone does D2jsp and has 10000fg from playing for years. Most people don’t have 100-120 Jahs sitting around to buy and trade for all that gear. Someone already commented that this build video and content “doesn’t matter” which I would agree. It seems like a failed attempt at overcomplicating and convoluting a relatively “generic” build with GG items.

@@D2RGGBuilds you also ignored every point I made in terms of you literally do not need to have that much negative light res or light dmg from facets with sunder charms and conviction from Infinity. I am currently #11 on ladder season 5 with a LV 99 light Sorc on PS5 and had no problem destroying P8 games with my “generic” self-wield infinity and imperfect items. I would also like to add I don’t use d2jsp or Traderie and was able to trade/farm all of my own items and gear on ladder and didn’t have to spend a single dime on the item websites like a lot of people do.

@@D2RGGBuilds also, the next hit delay on nova is 4 frames (0.16 seconds or 1/16th of a second) so 63-105 fcr would absolutely impact the speed at which you cast/hit with nova and kill monsters. You are minimizing the utility and effectiveness and importance of fcr and being able to teleport and clear faster just to fit your argument.
