The Smiths - How Soon Is Now (Lyric Video)
Clips used are by the movie The Breakfast Club.
The song belongs to The Smiths.
I do not own the song or the clips, I just made the video.
Lyrics:
I am the son and the heir
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar
I am the son and heir of nothing in particular
[Chorus]
You shut your mouth
How can you say I go about things the wrong way?
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does
[Refrain]
I am the son and the heir
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar
I am the son and heir of nothing in particular
[Chorus]
You shut your mouth
How can you say I go about things the wrong way?
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does
[Interlude]
There's a club, if you'd like to go
You could meet somebody who really loves you
So you go and you stand on your own
And you leave on your own
And you go home and you cry and you want to die
When you say "it's gonna happen now"
When exactly do you mean?
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone

"Charmed" reviews by Alison Pregler brought me here....wow. She REALLY hates that show. "These are our heroes. They are petty, shrewish, rude, egotistical, jealous, controlling, bitchy, whiny, complaining, liars, and arrogant....sigh...buckle up, folks..."

Funny how the decades long king brainwash is the same throughout history. All the music reflects the same exact psyop with all of them.

Superb! You did Morrissey and John Hughes proud. Thank you for the entire experience, and the unblemished lyrics in particular.

*World Domination and Information Tactics* Every attempt at world domination does so through controlling information. Christianity was only one attempt at it. Freemasonry is merely another brand of it, and Nazism would have done the same thing. By concealing the truth, people become like blind sheep owned by a master, therefore studying, especially the correct books, is of utmost importance to break the chains wrought during one's youth. *How Does One Achieve Knowledge?* "The Secrets of Ancient Constructs" "As above, so below." -Hermes Trismegistus Contrary to popular beliefs, knowledge is not achieved by reading. It does not require expensive tools. Knowledge does not need to be gathered by a poorly defined scientific method, but must usually precede using it then reapplied for presentations sake by using forms and constructs like hypothesis and results. Books contain knowledge and record others achievement of knowledge, but reading is an inactive form of analysis whereby one simply gathers. The ancient gods and religions were created with lists that weighed results in real world attributes, then these results were applied in communication with vast results. These were not phantasms in the forest but highly articulate arguments. Where else would philosophers such as Aristotle get their techniques? Knowledge is active not passive. Though some advanced arguments argue it must contain both active and passive means. True knowledge is achieved through, first defining the subject matter, applying logical construct to the subject, defining lists of relative relations to the subject, weighing it on mathematical scales and applying filters or other relations, and weighing or testing real world results. These are then gathered and applied to communications, arts, sciences, engineering, self defense and warfare, etc. Knowledge imparts clarity of mind and give one power over others and the world. This is why it is defined as evil in the Bible. Come and be like the gods, instead. One simple technique to tackling complex problems is to garnish a perspective behind the problem either historically, literally, or figuratively before defining a clear list and weighing it with other factors. -Francis Blake

*The Secret Key to Vampirism* “Interview With An Empty Skull” The actual truth about real living vampires, despite all rumors and stories, is that they are just airheads with the key to society. Society and its individuals grow slowly more complex over time. The vampires wait for you to get a complex then they open their umbrellas and own you by its simple similes. The mirror of the self will automatically see another as similar or as complex, however vampires remain simple and can also be extremely sharp. This is why witches hate vampires. The witch is complexity. Still one cannot tell them apart. If a vampire family sees you get a complex they’ll probably destroy you. Most of the world is about giving you a complex. This is how they grow so powerful. A vampire bite doesn’t give you a complex it takes it away. The sunlight becomes naturally brighter over time. The definition just fill in over time but really subtle. A vampire can load a small psychological program but its natural state is a psychological emptiness. The call them undead because many go through getting a complex then return to the living and that journey may last indefinitely. A pure vampire never gets one at all but this is rare. Vampirism is highly sought after. It may be the biggest game ever. Let the games begin! Be warned. *Cross Immunity:* “The Jesus Tomato” Flinging passages. Freaks on leashes. Four hidden doorways. Standing behind you. Spitting book gum after chewing. Bobbing for shrunken heads. Worms and grubs. Society is a flower garden with gross tomatoes. You are that tomato. Creation is a paper making screen to the stars. Magneticians and card tricks.

*The Alchemy of the Race Men* "By the blood of our people are your lands kept safe..." -LOTR To the Race of Men the world is all Men, and nothing pays off. Wealth is the act of labor and violence is of aggression. They live alongside Elves, Dwarves, and Goblins but they do not see anything. The true races are divided into attributes of pleasure and gain, whereby Dwarves become Dwarves, Elves become Elves, and Goblins become Goblins. I find it really suspicious that an entire race gains nothing, as if they are waiting and biding their time. I contend, they only seek power and especially wealth as a way to alleviate laborious acts. This pragmatism and lack of passion in Men must be identified and noted. I have yet to see a Man achieve another Race, which makes it all the more suspicious. Most Elves cannot handle these Dwarvish pleasures? That's news to me. That the Races are activated by particular brain chemistry is certainly a possibility.

Hopping in here April of 2024. This edit is magnificent. You took what I consider to be one of the definitive prototype “emo sad boi” songs of the 80’s… one that rings so true and genuine in my heart… and then you combined it with THE landmark “coming-of-age films” 80’s flick where teens/young adults start to realize themselves where they currently, or WILL fit into society’s expectations for them…. Goddamn. At my age, I’m starting to come to peace with the “where/what/who” I am, and “worth” towards society. I may not be happy or satisfied fully with where I wound up, but I AM grateful of the journey and experiences I’ve had up to this point. Just live life, through the good AND bad. It’s the one you’ve been dealt, might as well come out of it saying you tried!

I am their im right their just like it was im their two great songs and a fantistic movie, that was every teeagers right of passage on to the next step in life. Together, combined wow which one fits better. Simple minds or the smiths, what about Heroes by Bowie, so many great songs all had meaning and substance of being a teenager then. Can I stay, i liked it much better then. I need a rocky horror time warp. It was just a jump to the left. I will go back again. Be cool

very mismatched, the video and the song. the song is about loneliness and being robbed by the system...more punk so, delivered in pop new wave. the video is about american differences but unity as one.

Stick to your plan. Anticipate, don't improvise. Trust no one. Never yield an advantage. Fight only the battle you're paid to fight. Forbid empathy. Empathy is weakness. Weakness is vulnerability.

*Sound and Lectures* I conjecture only this about insanity. Insanity is about books. It is not about reading, though or fiction. Insanity is specifically about a quality note-taking of non-fiction. It is about quality time at a desk. I believe kids who actually take notes during school have less of a chance at going insane later in life. They have no buffering. It's set to explode. Here!!!
