This is not what I was hoping to find. Too bad you can’t listen to a day of for radio stations. I pretty much stopped listening to the radio, just used my iPod after this. To this day some songs I say the song and title in my head when it ends.

So lame, I still remember like it was yesterday hoping into my car, flipping to 1049 only to hear some shitty Celine Dion song or something, at first i thought it was a prank.. I grew up in Seattle, WA, listening to Funky Monkey 104.9 all the time. I miss Funky Monkey 104.9 and those good old days with no Apple Music, Spotify, or Tidal. As you can see, I miss this radio station so much that I even named myself after this radio station.

The Funky Monkey 104.9 was the best station in Seattle. You heard the shit you heard at the live shows downtown at the venues. Chevelle, The Red, all got their first on-air play here, shit got heavy and real. Hell, my band opened for candlebox 4x on the underground scene after that bullshit they suffered with the Maverick production asshole. Kevin, Merc and the crew were poppin heavy. Those were the days... Aghhh, Blackwell and Quizenberry.. the guys from Falacy, they were comin up. Atari, they were ok when they started. We all got airtime on the damn Munky and Shared a stage with all these guys; those were the days - I wanna go back!! Aarrrgghhhhhhh...... sucks gettin old, never stop playin, my bros, peace!!
