Much appreciated @cliffwoodbury5319! I am admittedly bare bones in my approach. As my free time is gobbled up in making comics and doing associated task like building the Kickstarter campaigns, the added time of web finding or scanning those items (I read physical copies) saving and editing them into videos is not doable. That would work out better if I was not a self publisher and my hobby or job was video production. As for your second point, yes, beyond that many who cover the indies restrict it to the larger companies with fewer in the small press. My initial idea was the fact that there were many places to hear about bigger releases and having these videos as a place to perhaps discover new gems. All that said, I do realize I'm somewhat shooting myself in the foot with this approach and your suggestions would definitely increase viewership which of course increases the visibility of the books I support so it's definitely to be considered. Thanks for your support. 45 seconds into the Indie Monster Haul August 2023 I showed one of the proof copies I ordered from the printer so I have a few but the printer is VERY backlogged with books to list so it might be 6 months before they do so. I'm offering copies for anyone who wants to DM me on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter... oops, I mean X). I can autograph those upon request as well. No Team North America update yet but we do have a special Impact International #3 on the way that will run on Kickstarter.

I'll give the My Hero Academia creators credit for many original looking characters and powers but the rabid Big 2 fans would probably still struggle to make comparisons.

It’s a Maltese Falcon but beyond that there’s the flowing yellow belt… and long yellow gloves… and long yellow boots… and her high collar… and his bracelets… but yes, identical 🙄 That said, I don’t take these comments in bad spirit as they could be said in an attempt to point out an oversight on my part. Rest assured that I have many years of Big 2 comics behind me and I’m aware of those character designs so no need to help me out informing me of such things.

The Big 2 have done every color combination so many big fans of those books will imagine those connections.

@@argocomics6207 👍 since the black color resembles the suit of Gladiator in later issues of Uncanny X-Men, The Thanos Imperative: Devastation One-Shot, All-New X-Men, Avengers (vol. 8), Guardians of the Galaxy (vol. 3) & X-Men (vol. 5). The symbol is mostly identical to Supergirl due to its shape & color & parts of Gladiator but it looks like the symbol of Gladiator is upside down.

Thanks! I do buy some DC and Marvel (mainly trade paperbacks and some of the facsimile editions) but I feel there are plenty of others giving you reviews of the big two so I try to offer something different).

Ah, just in glancing, Ultraman and Black Orchid being in each of the universes had me thinking they were all yours but I see now that we have other people's characters and that guide you mentioned. Great stuff!

Definitely had that problem on a couple videos but this one’s volume seems to come through fine on my iPhone.

Thanks for saying so Tim! I didn't realize how bad it got with some of the recent ones until I was just reviewing some of them earlier today.

Just doing hauls here to show what I picked up rather than full blown reviews. Yeah, everyone doesn't publish a handbook right off the bat as they may want people to discover the characters through the story. I do agree though that it does make it easier to follow especially in a team book. Good to have a roll call with each characters powers at least.

Ah, I can see the difference as the first page is more cel style which I prefer to the airbrush look. Nice work!

I like looking at Marvel and D.C. content but i have to many channels were their content is covered and more obscure comic companies/independent comic company content is what i love to see more than anything.
