ARE YOU GUYS HIGH??? Why would you have an hour discussion on a movie???? Especially a Hollywierdos movie!?

I absolutely loved Eternals. Such a beautiful movie. Such a unique movie. Very Ethereal and godly. The movie is based on real life mythology. All of the Eternals themselves are directly inspired by real life gods. As time goes on, this movie will become more and more loved. It wasn’t a perfect film at all. But it will always have a special place in my heart.

When Blithe volunteers to scout the farmhouse, I appreciate how it shows Shifty making himself smaller when Welsh and Nixon ask for volunteers. Even though Shifty dodged machinegun fire, killed a couple of Germans, and proved himself a warrior early in this episode, he appeared nervous and unwilling to go on this brief farmhouse scouting mission. Blithe, however, volunteering after being too scared to pull the trigger, was an interesting development. It shows how the courage of a soldier may come in waves. It may fluctuate based on their own trivial experiences or what that one officer says to inspire them. If Spears had said to Shifty the words of wisdom that he spoke to Blithe about operating "like a soldier," would Shifty have been more willing to volunteer? Who knows. It must be difficult for officers to order their men to do something sketchy. You ask a man to do something he is hesitant about today, where he might do something courageous on his own tomorrow. There is very delicate decision-making.

it is definitely in my top three films. I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks. Then. Bob Lazar blew the whistle on Area 51/S4. Spielberg was supposedly told and shown SOME top secret actual info. I believe it was the late 70s version of slowly exposing the truth about UFOs/UAPs. But Alas, the Government chooses to continue THE BIG LIE. Close Encounters I have seen at least 20 times. Great interview!!❤
