"Turn the Page" is a song originally recorded by Bob Seger in 1971 and released on his Back in '72 album in 1973. It was not released as a single until Seger's live version of the song on the 1976 Live Bullet album got released in Germany and the UK. The song became a mainstay of album-oriented rock radio stations, and still gets significant airplay on classic rock stations.

Discussing my recent absence and a cover of the B.B. King classic, "Stand by Me". "Stand by Me" is a song originally performed in 1961 by American singer-songwriter Ben E. King and written by him, along with Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. According to King, the title is derived from, and was inspired by, a spiritual written by Sam Cooke and J. W. Alexander called "Stand by Me Father", recorded ...

"I will follow you into the dark" by Deathcab for Cutie Cover by Animal w/Keyboard. This is the first song that I have ever attempted playing on keyboard. My peripheral neuropathy, arthritis and carpal tunnel make playing any instrument challenging and painful but I still love to perform and I will continue until I can't anymore. This song is dedicated to everyone that ever feared walking alone...

Hiya Toys Robocop Review w/side by side comparison Predators and Terminator
We miss our Yoshi 😢
Not a single day passes that I don't think about my sweet baby boy 😔
Cyclonus, one of the coolest Decepticons😎
Of all the characters who debuted in the 86' movie Cyclonus has to be my favorite 😀
Love you, brother. 🔥🤘🔥
Looks so cool 😮
Excellent comparison 😎👍
Thank you very much 😁
Hmm, if you can make an old school casting mold of that canopy, you could probably make a clear acrylic replacement. I'm gonna be embarking on some casting projects once its not raining here cuz then I can spill plaster and mix stinky stuff in the back yard. And yes, Dawn soap is the toy collector's first tool in restoration! That stuff works wonders for well worn and world weary toys. And if they've taken a real pummelling, a new lease on life as a custom is perfectly acceptable.
***HUGS*** That sounds hellish! Chronic pain is cruel, especially when it take away what we love to do to cope with the pain. If it helps, you're not alone. Lots of your fellow geeks on the channel and the page deal with this biological bullsh1t and we will indeed, action figures clutched in our hands, stand by you. Non of us can every know another person's pain and struggles but you have our empathy and support, even if its just from across the interwebs. Keep on keeping on and do what you gotta. Reach out to us when you need an empathetic ear or just to talk toys.
I love having the support of all my friends and followers. Y'all give me the motivation to keeping it going, thanks Brittany!
My Bob and Doug McKenzie figures came with stubbies and boxes of Moosehead. That remains the only part of my collection my parents have every gotten any joy out of. Yes, when get everything unpacked, there will be a wide variety of my collection taking off for a drink. Spoilers- Thrawn's ysalamir Mr. Fuzzle will drink everyone collectively under the table.... Bob: Eh, you hoser, you can't drink it all! Mr. Fuzzle, arching four eyebrows: Peep? C:< *gulp gulp gulp glup....!!!* Doug: Why yah go dare 'er, eh? She went through like, five two-fours already! Bob: So Mr. Grand Admiral Thrawn, you're gonna have to pay for that, you know. Thrawn, watching the hockey teams from the Bob and Doug movie: I've already put it on Project Stardust's tab. Now have either of you heard of this Kim's Convenience market and its connection with Carson Teva? Bob: Hey, if yer going fer snackie get some Hawkins Cheezies, Coffee Crisps, dill pickle chips and Smarties, eh? I think one of my all time favorite burlesque performances was a Mothra themed one. The local performers are really creative!
This toy show was Toys “R” Us in the past before they closed it
It used to be Toys “R” Us in where you were
I want one of these but in metal.
That would be awesome BUT cost prohibitive 🤔
Hiya's entire Robocop line is amazing, especially when it comes to RoboCain, which is just an astonishingly great figure. BTW, if you're an insane completionist, Mezco released an ED-209 years ago as well. Very similar in look/articulation to the ReAction figure.
SLOTHS!
Sloth.
I just bought it at Job Lots today for $10.00 , got a Helicopter for $5.00 at Dollar Tree , the two t look like they were made for eachother.
The child of Galactus and Hela!
Yes! Set them free!
Is not missing a piece. It comes with one engine cover.
Looking at this guy on sale right now--I think you sold me. Will definitely be a custom, just deciding where to add lasers and a top gunner's station. It's almost too accurate as is to fit with GI Joe.
Awesome, I was also thinking about getting a second one but I don't think I have the space 😅
I love ED-209 robocop the whole lot, did you put the ED-209 series together yourself. They look amazing, do you do alot of stop motion stuff if so it takes alot of time, I remember a time were if you were into this stuff you were a nerd we're as now your a legend mate, your collection is amazing and I can see the way you talk about them that they mean alot to you, love it pal Keep doing what your doing and you sound great, I think if I didn't live in dublin Ireland and lived on the other side of the world we wold be mates.
Mark, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comment. To answer your question, I've never done stop-motion photography. I've never really thought about doing it due to the detailed work involved. I'm not sure I have the patience to take on a project like that 😅All of my ED-209 figures are action figures come pre painted and assembled with little to no assembly required. Over the years I have seen a few model kits but have never purchased any. It's been decades since I have actually done a kit build. Now as I turn 50, I've found I have lost some of the finer motor skills required to do the delicate work like fine panel lines and such. I'm not upset at this, I actually prefer toys that are pre built and pre painted BUT i have been known to on occasion perform minor repairs and customs 😁 And I agree, if we weren't an entire world away, we'd totally be mates! You sound like an awesome dude! Thank you again for your support, I love producing my content. If someone appreciates what I do, it makes it worth the effort 🙂If you like what you see check me out on instagram @ instagram.com/magnusvonbraun666/ and my facebook group facebook.com/groups/1704598632921603
Unfortunately you have to take R5D4 head off and put it in the port plus there is only one cover nothing is missing
I was confused because I thought they would have included a diagram showing all the parts that were included. I have received several messages confirming that there is only one engine cover included. But I think the ambiguous nature of the instructions can easily give us the impression that there were supposed to be two. Oh well, live and learn 😅
@@atomicmariachianimal51 I'll be honest when I got mine last week yes I knew it was the only one to use on either side you choose but personally I believe they should have included a peice for both sides as no matter what side we put it on the other side just seems bare IMO
🔥🤘🔥
The instructions are, or can be a little WONKY…

@@atomicmariachianimal51 awe Dude. Many of Hasbro instructions have had me puzzled. 😆 I come from RC car building too! Go figure! Great Channel. 👍🏼
I disagree about BIG BAD TOY STORE, I have ordered from them many many times, and never had any trouble.
After calling their customer service and speaking with both them and Hasbro customer service, I was sufficiently satisfied with their responses. Just to clarify, my issue was with Hasbro and not BBTS. Personally, I've never had any issues with BBTS on anything I've ever ordered from them and I've been a customer since they started. I will be doing a follow up video regarding the experience, hopefully this week 😁
Its not missing a cover. It only comes with one. Look at the box photo, it shows only 1. It says A and B on thr instructions because it can go on either engine. Yours is complete.
I'm hearing that from other collectors as well, thanks for verifying that 😁
All that potty mouth for nothing 😂 Lmao. Awesome ship
@@thetvbaby83 when I go on a tear, I got two accelerators and no brakes 😅
@@atomicmariachianimal51 I totally understand bud lol
@thetvbaby83 it's an easy mistake. Hasbro could have been clearer in their instructions.
Pelly is my FAVORITE! She and her unapologetic 80s perm. Gawd, I can smell that setting solution even now. I hope we see a lot of her in the future. Geez, Habsro, that's some slackin' design and packaging. Missing pieces, figures don't fit. That's more than disappointing. Thanks for the head up about Big Bad Toys so I can avoid their Big Bad Business. All my action figures rely on MLP pegasus transport. Its the only way to fly! I mean, seriously, someone honestly did a breakdown of what the little horses can do and it is OP as f00000000k so why would you bother with anything else if the techno color mare can break the speed of sound on a milk run? Obi-wan in teh Cantina in ANH" I need a fast ship. Han: Ever heard of the Millenium Falcon? Its the fastest ship in the galaxy. Made teh Kessel run in 13 parse- Chewie, swats Han upside the head and shoves Obi-wam to a booth where Rainbow Dash and Firefly are enjoying Tatooine Sunsets. Rainbow Dash: I mean, sure if you gotta take a ship, that ones sorta fast. When its not broken. Which is always. Firefly: We're good to go when you are! Hey, gals, we got customers! Star Catcher: Better hurry up. Lofty had to put a hoof through an Imp out there that was hassling two droids. Obi-wan: Oh dear. How fast can you get to Alderaan? Rainbow Dash: Alderaan? What a co-inky-dink, that's where we're out from! *In space the Death Star is getting tossed around while two alicorn Princesses play catch with it* Bail Organa: And that is why you stay out of this system with your massive death machines out of our system, Tarkin! *On the Death Star, everybody except Leia is getting flung around like laundry in a dryer* Leia: Well, that was an eventful day but I think I'm done. ready to go Megan? Megan from MLP opening up the Rainbow of Light locket: I'd say I'm ready to call it and go have cupcakes.
Creepshow was the real deal. Y'all had a much bigger presence and following than a lot of bands here. Good hook, great songs.
Thanks brother, you were one of our biggest supporters and I never forgot that! You and the other bands that we had the honor of sharing the stage really understood where we were coming from. One of my favorite compliments was being compared to the Plasmatics. I always felt that our followers mainly consisted of our peer musicians because they really understood what we were doing as opposed to wider audiences. Don't get me wrong, we had our fans and they were die-hards to say the least 🤘😈🤘I can't thank you enough for sticking with us!
❤
Magnus!!!!!! so good to see u playing again!!! Great cover my friend!!!!
Watching you play was an excellent way to end today. I give this hurricane 5 jalapeños!
She may have been a handyman's special but you can see its a dream dome now! I would have cast copies of everything I could to have spare parts/replacements and cuz gawdammit, I took those sculpting classes and they are gonna be relevant if it kills me! Speaking off, its not surprising joints and ramparts are breaking since they're all at high stress points, with those ramparts even having a great big edge to snap 'em off at. My Pony playsets also have their tables broken off but I'm gonna cheat like buck and make some homemade (or bought at a craft store if I find affordable ones I like) tabs to put small magnets into (maybe even that sheet magnetic stuff if its strong enough cuz that'd cut into nice shapes) and have them stick together that way. We'll see how things turn out. Its been a long time since art school so we'll start small and see how it goes.
This is excellent. Most excellent indeed
I read the abridged version of that on fb but the expanded story is even more moving. Glad you made it here cuz you sure have made my life better. Someday you must visit up here and swap stories and action figures.
I remember you telling me about this long ago. One day, we gotta record. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Looking good brother, thanks for the trip down memory lane!!!🤘😈🤘🍻
Bro, cut your hair. YOu will look much more beautiful. And le the beard grow. See ya big bear.
Damn, that's beautiful!
That is a beauty! I like the Nemesis' design a lot. I had no idea it and the Arc had a bot mode.
Well, if you look at the original source material, neither of them did. Hasbro decided to implement the transformation into these modern interpretations of these modern releases. I like that the Ark was envisioned as " The Last Autobot" from the end of the original Marvel run of the book but I'm still baffled at the introduction of the Nemesis as a Transformer. What made more sense to me was the video game of "War for Cybertron" and "Fall of Cybertron". I really appreciated the Trypticon angle.
Do modern joes fit or just oring?
O-Ring figures fit much better than modern figures. The modern ones tend to look like they've been shoved in like sardines. Also, there is ZERO room for attached accessories. I hope that this helps 😁
I have deeply missed listening to your recollections. Please keep this up. I want to hear as many memories as you can recall! Still pissed I missed the show they played with Guitar Wolf, but maybe, if the Rock N Roll gods deem it, they might grace the opportunity again!
I remember the fire-breathing in Creepshow. Badass stuff. They sure were good days.
Hell yeah! Do a million of these.
😀 "Promo sm"
Nice base yo joe
3D printing has given toy repair (among other things) a big help! I'm gonna ask a friend if he can help me track down/scan some MLP G1 stuff for me, though I will be doing good old fashioned casting of a few toys because plaster is cheap, Sculpy isn't so hard to find, I have free time and gawdammit I am going to f0king justify the time/money/effort I spent learning that sh1t. Oh and I like the name Firespray better because now Fett isn't just a glorified wage slave for sleamos. My old vintage (but not close to mint) Boba Fett is a spitfire with lots of hot sass for whoever hires him in my Bad Fanfic Baking nonsense. I need to pick up the BoBF figures when I get those started again.
You have the best responses Brittany 😁
You pretty accurate I feel in this evaluation 👍
G.I. Joe HASLAB NEED to bring back 3.3/4 figures and Vehicle for the New Generation!
Do you really have a scrunchie on your wrist?
Yes, yes I do 😁
if you wanted to get one, would you go with Hiya or Necca? Hiya seems sturdier and more detailed
That would depend on the scale that you collect, I'm a hardcore 1:18/3 and 3/4 guy so my default would be HIYA but if you don't care about scale and just looking for an awesome looking shelf piece, than NECA is good. If the robustness of the figure is a deciding factor then I'd go with the HIYA but not by much. I hope this was helpful 😁
@@atomicmariachianimal51 great info, thanks!
That looks so tasty!
It so is 🙂
