We took larger steps on the windmill turns and pretended to be animals. Eg. Penguin s, crocodiles and monkeys.

I didn't start line dancing until 1998 & this dance was sill being done widely in the UK but, as you say, not to this music. Remember folk getting muddled with the points & heels at the beginning!

Great with a full crowd of dancers

I once saw this done contra line at Meanwood Club in Leeds. It was fabulous with all the dancers crossing each other on the diagonals. Julie Clarkson would remember it.
