5’5 is a nice size for an 85. I’m an adult but around 5’6 and skinny and kx85 is my bike of choice

@@ellisberry8747 got to sit on some bikes, KX112/KLX230/KLX300r fit me best. I’m a bit heavier so the 85 was too low on suspension

@@sundownfilms9058 yeah I have a ktm exc 300,ktm rc8,kx65,kx85,ktm 50,blata 39cc,a custom e bike and a Honda grom in my living room it’s not like I’ve not sat on a few bikes. Of course on a track or competitive scenario a bigger bike is the way to go but at that point just get a 450. It’s personal preference. A kx112 does seem like a nice one for the collection,but the small wheel 85 just agrees with me for some reason. It’s probably because my riding isn’t competitive and instead mostly blasting around uk streets and alleyways (which are both a lot narrower than America) I’m not hitting whoops or anything so I like how nimble the 17/14 setup feels. Honestly I very nearly prefer the kx65. But only because I can take it more places and hide it behind cars and stuff easier

Sorry for the rambling I’m stoned and eating a burger rn but my point was,at 5’6 the ktm 300 fits me just fine. I’d take that if I was going for anything competitive. I just like the 85 platform
