I have one of these units that I recently purchased, it does improve the comfort of a kn95 mask. However the filter in the unit is fairly small also the filter sits directly on top of the fan. So only a small portion of the filter is actually used. This can be improved by removing the filter from the enclosure stopping the plastic lid back on feel the edge I will dare to using cellophane or Scotch tape then using cellophane or Scotch tape seal the filter on top of the lid. This way the entire filter service is used for air flow. Not just the small circle sitting on top of the fan. Think of how the air filter in your home furnace is mounted. Give me make a little more sense. Also you will get some funny looks with this thing people are not used to seeing them they don't know what they are and they will definitely look at you oddly what being a larger guy I can tell you that in the medium to high setting if you have to get through an airport or move any kind of equipment it will help you immensely. I would also suggest ordering a backup air hose oh, and extra filters. After approximately a week's worth of use 8 hours a day the end of the air hose become stretched and do not hold as tightly as they could I have modified the one that I own, with a 90-degree connector made from polyethylene plastic. I installed by just cutting the hose approximately 1 1/2 in from where it connects to the blower and then inserting the other end of the hose onto the right angle connector. It makes it so that the hose is not have to make a sharp turn to go up towards the mask. Be careful because once you cut into the hose it can unravel because of the Spiral design.
