Losing 50k souls is rough (although, it depends on how much you need to level up). Aside from being quite frustrated at blighttown while being cursed, I saw that as more tedious than actually difficult. At the time of writing this comment, I have finished the game (DLC and all) and edited every video, it's just slowly going to yt so I know what is to come. I did also have a few moments where I looked up on the wiki on where to go, but I see it as the game not being clear about what to do rather than the game being difficult. I also know it gets more difficult after anor lando. I however, still stand by the fact that overall, this game is not very difficult. It's more tedious and unclear about what to do than actually difficult. I do understand why others may see this game as difficult though. I just never found it all that difficult. If we're talking difficult games, I've found Nioh and jedi fallen order (even on my 2nd playthrough) to be a lot more difficult than dark souls. Outer wilds was difficult as well, although that was mostly puzzling.

is the music that loud? I've always had a difficult time balancing audio so any feedback is appreciated! Personally I hate it when all I can hear is the youtuber's audio and barely any music/sound.

I will always have other stuff to upload, but for the near future I'll be uploading FTL once every 2 weeks. I'm glad you enjoyed this one, it was quite a struggle to win with this ship lol. There is a lot more ftl to come eventually. I have 27 hours of footage left to edit and I'm not even done playing yet lol.

Fun fact, I do go back there at some point, because after I beat the final boss, I wanted to go back and do all the bosses in the base game and dlc. So I went there to find the doll I needed to get to crossbreed priscilla. I never really looked at the asylum beyond that. The amount of secrets in this game is insane and I love it lol.

Good question lmao. I have no idea. I did not delete the comments. I blame youtube somehow. I also can't find it in the "held for review" section of the comments, where usually all removed comments go. I have never seen this before. Maybe it somehow got flagged as bot comments?

I apologize, I can only assume youtube removed it for whatever reason. Unless it contains obvious spam/scams, I will never remove comments. I always encourage comments, whether it's criticism or praise.

But, if you are not afraid of complicated games, maybe you could play a UBOAT too, it's submarine simulator that came recently in release. And honestly, I dunno what to suggest. I played different games and It’s not a fact that you’ll like it either.

@@masrfaker is it possible to use the same cheat engine for multiple games? I never used one before nor really considered it, but I can see it be useful sometimes

@@Aquatic_Trident wdym "the same cheat engine"? you just setup your hotkeys, pick a process exe, and chill ::) hotkey settings are persistent. For example, I've set "1", "1.5", "2.5", "10" and "20". big numbers have diminishing returns, as cpu is not omnipotent. what cheat engine does is replace a common dll function with its own implementation of tick counter. but sometimes the game will not use that common function, and speedhack won't work (it doesn't mean that the entire game does not use that function, just some parts of the game). I've encountered this in PC building simulator, some transitions and loading screens use different clock functions

@@Aquatic_Trident just don't use it on competitive games ::) I don't play any, but I won't be surprised if some overly engineered anti cheat will ban you because it found CheatEngine.exe after browsing through your all hard drives

sorry, no, I generally try to refrain from very long games unless I really like the game. I already know I won't like starfield and it'll bore me.

Yeah, I forgot about the signal scope. I never used it that much. I never figured out "unidentified signal nearby" meant I had to use the scope. My friend told me about it afterwards.

If you watch some of my runs, you'll see I completely forget about fuel most of the time lmao. And with missiles and drone parts I'm often way too conservative and having only missile weapons just stresses me out lol.

Do more of this please. Playing ftl and getting unlucky hits like a bus. But watching someone else play it better then me is an enjoyment. I can't win unless I have flak or burst lasers 2

I wouldn't consider myself good at ftl, I mostly just yell my way through it lol. But the strat I mostly use is: if you're in bad shape in sector 1, just restart. If you get out of sector 1 in good shape, there is a high chance you can win the run. Other than that it's just trial and error and having fun :) If you look at my channel I have an ftl playlist. There are already a lot of FTL videos in them. Eventually I plan to beat the game with every type of every ship, so a lot more videos will be coming :D

I first off want to note that I have already finished my entire outer wilds playthrough, but I'm slowly putting it up onto youtube. I was afraid of people trying to spoil stuff. That said, near the end of the game I indeed figured out that I can skip time at the campfire. I do agree the poem there is kinda stupid. Gabbro did tell me a few videos ago that he wrote it, but I still thought it was a clue somehow. One issue I will always have with this game and I don't know if I am to blame or the devs are to blame, probably both, is due to the game's lack of tutorial. Mechanics such as sleeping at a campfire are easy to miss. It's easy to blame me for being dumb and not exploring enough, but I think from a game design perspective it could've been done better. Same with the poem. I eventually did figure out what to do there. It was just scan the stone with my signal scope. Another mechanic my friend told me afterwards I missed was every time it says "Unidentified signal nearby" it means I can use my signal scope to look for it and identify it. I never realized this. This leads me to another issue which is apparent from this video's title: the game is sometimes too easy to brute force. And yeah, I eventually did figure out what to do with ATP. Took me about 2 hours, but I was way too fixated on stuff said on the black hole forge, thinking the answer was there. Anyways, thank you for leaving a comment, I always enjoy reading comments :)

@@Aquatic_Trident just a little advice I wish I had before I played DLC: this DLC is much more of a puzzle, than a base game. It feels completely different (as a game). Everything in it can be logically deduced. This is a DLC which rewards you for using your brain (base game barely has such moments). So, if you were to follow the straightforward approach, then game will give you answers, but then you will no longer be able to use your brain. Intention of the developers was to make "scary" parts so scary, that people would give up and try to think of how to solve it logically. But in my opinion, they should have made it straight up impossible. I've seen too much youtubers who finish DLC without solving it as a puzzle. Though, to each its own. You are content creator, so maybe it will make more sense to you to engage in "scary" parts for content ::)

@@masrfaker I will just play it the way I normally play games. Idk what the dlc is about or what I'm supposed to do, that's the beauty of playing games blind. What I think I've shown in this playthrough of outer wilds is my tendency to try and solve puzzles rather than brute force stuff, getting to the black hole forge being the only exception. But most importantly, I will play it the way I've always played games, because I think being honest about what I'm doing is important as a content creator. Also, do you want me to play the dlc. Community input is very important to me. So people saying they want me to play the DLC will make the chance of me playing the DLC a lot higher.

No, I've not tried Into the Breach yet. I've looked on steam to see whether it was a good game or not and people said it was still decent, but not as good as FTL. This is the main reason I haven't played it yet. I may play sometime in the future, but I don't have plans for it yet. But, as is the case for pretty much every game, the more people ask for it, the higher the chance I'll play it. And I agree with you on FTL. As frustrating as this game can be, it's an awesome game and I love it.

Huh, interesting. Sadly it won't help for future playthroughs. I've done 3 in total now (which will slowly come to yt). In the second I went to the car and in the 3rd I figured out how to get into the motel. I wasn't planning on doing more detroit, since I already have so much and it'll take 2 years to put it all on youtube lol.

Sure. I've been doubting the way I upload FTL video's for a while now. Generally shorter video's tend to get more views, which is why I've been splitting them up. Future FTL video's will be full runs and if I have the time I will put the older FTL into full runs and add them unlisted in a playlist Ty for the feedback. Feedback is always appreciated!

A friend of mine recommmended this game to me. He loves this game. After playing it for some time, I can see why. Even though some things are very scary, I will be taking more risk in the future. I appreciate the non-spoiler advice :D
