Thank god these are not unicorns anymore. They are coming into the USA in droves. Let's see how many we can import before the insane politicians in WA make them illegal due to environmental laws. They REALLY don't like us having cool shit and the 90s in Japan was the BEST decade for cars. Definitely need to come down to your shop though. That is a beautiful machine.

Who makes your spare tire holder?

78 series or the prados rides better than the other heavy duty 70 series ones. Its running on 4coil springs rather than the leaf springs on the heavy duty LC70’s. Rides better than the late model ones & still can do what the heavy duty ones can do. However, 2Lte engines is prone to overheating. The (kzj78) 1kz engines are way bette. Its more responsive & runs cooler than the 2lte. Both experience owning both & i curruntly own a kzj78.

Nice to see... I owned a Land Cruiser Prado (1992 years model) when I lived in Tanzania (2005-2007). I imported it from Japan ... and really miss that car. Nice to see some good Prados are still running. Now I have hope for the new Prado 2024. :)

O sorry moffgridder stands for motorized off gridder because Earthroamer claimed what I do for their impractical road tour units. I’m not knocking them and I agree they are cool but I built a mid range unit to get the best of all worlds and I saved $490,000. You guys are putting out some great practical units for over landing! I can long stay or live as long as I like because I’m 100% self sustaining!
