you want chevy power, buy a chevy!

Nice Bronco! I've thought about swapping in a Toyota engine and drive train to make the Bronco have some of that great reliability but a 4Runner engine like the 5VZ-FE probably isn't powerful enough without some heavy modifications. Dad's 5VZ-FE 1998 4Runner has 237,000 miles and besides a little oil leaking, runs like new. It'll be interesting to see how you get the Chevy engine to function in a Bronco. I'm guessing your either bringing over the Chevy ECU or going with a basic carburetor setup.

If anyone is interested I'm selling my 1976 Chevy Suburban . It's a California truck and sat from 1994 until I bought it in 2022 . It is a 3/4 ton 4 x 4 with a Dana 44 front axle and a 14 bolt free float rearend . Underneath is real clean , the body has some small rust and patina . interior is pretty rough from the California sun . I would like to get 10,000. Runs great .

It was a blast! I was there with my grampa's old 71...4 months ago sitting forlorn in a garage untouched for 20 years, now, driving itself to the show both days! I was parked in that row over by the air conditioned indoor showroom between another patina's 67-72 and a sightly lifted white OBS GMC. Had my hood up, a leather soft cover on the back. Gonna see if it's in the footage!

Beautiful Square Body Stepside Long Wheel Base 1973.

Nice looking Stepside. I have a 74 same stance, new topend from carb down to the headers go right over the axles with a drop down exhaust. I want a manual conversion so bad.

I love long bed.sqarud body Chevy trucks I have to of them I have a 87 name lady blue and a 85 nay Candis both square body Chevy truck Candis I'm turned her into a Corvette lady is my every day driver unless I can find a k5 or a nother square body Chevy truck

also you could substitute the sawdust for toilet paper or tissue paper that's super glue and sawdust thing you can also do it with Elmer's glue or wood glue and sawdust especially for holes that are stripped out with wood screws it's not perfect but if it's what you got it's what you got I did this with a toilet paper and Elmer's glue for the front door screws for stripped out and now they don't

I drive a 1971 Chevy Suburban k20 4 x 4 with a 14 bolt free float rearend and a Dana 44 front axle. It was sitting in California not driven since 1994 . It is rock solid underneath but has patina and some small rust spots on the body and of course the interior is shot from sitting in the California sun . It is now back just 1 hour from where it was born in Flint Mi. When I take it out I get thumbs up all the time. It has 2 tone paint and I think the main coat is the same color as your truck.
