That's interesting. I'm not into your class, but will definitely look into this. I've always said, "God is Love;" the first and greatest commandment is "Love...;" and if we do the first the second will naturally follow, as God's heart is for people; also all sin is rooted in selfishness and lack of love; however, the points you make are very convincing so I will look into it.

Also by looking at the Early church, and seeing what the ingredients were that helped them grow. That might also help them to see how in real time this happened.
