@@jaredkurimski3010 when it comes to performance mode nah not really however amd is releasing the 9950x3d soon which should beat it. Also I’m recording a benchmark rn of 14700k vs 7800x3d so that ppl with the same question can see what’s better cause sometimes in dx12 14700k wind

@@Zenekwastaken Interesting, I couldn’t imagine using DX12. I imagine that new CPU will be overpriced compared to the 7800X3D. Do you think the 7900XT would be adequate with the 7800X3D? Found one used for $1500.

@@MotionBlakeFN_ probably 4080 super, 7800x3d is pretty dang good and goes good w/ a 4080 super, I wouldn’t stick with a amd gpu because Nvidia gpus are more stable and got more features

Intel CPU’s always run hot especially 14th gen

Right i got a i7 13700k havent seen it reach over 55 celcius yet however i dont play fps games like fortnite and such so maby thats that lol And also i did notice u had the framerate valve 100 procent open lol so makes sense u are generating more heath

14th gen is something to steer away from . They tried to make the worlds fastest cpu with this one and it just over heats . 13th gen or lower is much better choice I have a i9-13900k and it never runs hot

Ryzen 7 7800x3d performs better in performance mode which is what most comp players play on so If I were you I prob would go with ryzen, not only that but you get lower temps, low power consumption and good fps

Yeah Im glad I did

A Couple reasons, one reason is because I tested the 4080 super only in 4k, while Im testing 4070 super in 1080p and also because they took place during different seasons and the season where I tested the 4080 super had bad fps

Using an amd 7800 x3d. Any idea why thats happening? Fps keeps dropping to 80 or even 50 fps on performance mode.

Yeah like yesterday during the duos cup I felt lag but that was because I was uncapped instead of capped

@@Zenekwastaken yeah same, whenever you use performance mode you don’t stutter also? I have the same build as you and turning on performance mode makes the game lag/stutter like crazy. I’m gonna post the video of it later but has that never happened to you?

@@eliobetancourth9854 I would go with the 7800x3d, this is known as the best gaming cpu in the world and for fortnite(performance mode) you get way higher fps, and I have only compared them in fortnite, not any other games but I’m pretty sure 60% of the time the 7800x3d wins, so if I were you I would probably go with 7800x3d. And it’s not even just about the cpu it’s self but another reason why 7800x3d is better is because it’s future proof, meaning that if you want to upgrade in 2 years you won’t have to get a new motherboard and don’t worry you don’t gotta give anything as a thank you, I like helping people 😊

Well, fortnite is a cpu based game and ryzen 7 7800x3d is the best cpu for gaming rn, which ryzen 9 do you have because the only one that can get near these fps is the 7950x3d, if you have any other one then your most likely getting less.

r7 is better for gaming thats what they say so idk i get 1200 in creative an 900-1k in game

I’m guessing you play performance mode, so honestly all that really matters is that you get a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a decent gpu like the 4060 or 4070 for more money. Because Fortnite is cpu based and ryzen 7 7800x3d can get you to these fps
