This level was given to me all the way back in March back when I was going for Saul Goodman. I tried it a bit on the side for quite a while but it felt a little too unreasonable to do as a side project as I was REALLY struggling to build consistency.
I decided to wait until a point where I felt I was better at the game and also a point where I could do it as a primary focus instead of a side project. I was initially gonna do it just after eyes in the water but then the whole Anathema thing happened and this got put off a few months.
Fast forward to now where I was finally able to full focus this, I had completely forgotten how to play the level and my muscle memory had disheveled entirely so I was basically playing from scratch. I did make quite a few tweaks here and then such as fixing bugs, nerfing major chokes, making the cube feel slightly better to play, and some of those were close to the completion day so I feel like I'm gonna be overrating this due to how most of my experience was on harder versions.
The hardest part of the level in my opinion is the ship, which also happens to be my worst gamemode which further makes me believe I found this harder than most people will.
The goal for this level was to be the 1.9 GDPS top 1 (Harder than Deadlier Clubstep) so hopefully it's at least harder than that.
As for the level itself, it plays pretty decently. It's not the best thing in the world or anything like that, it definitely has a couple flaws in the gp but nothing ludicrous. It was also interesting to learn since it's so flashy and convoluted it almost feels like playing invisible gameplay at times.
As for the deco, part of the reason I accepted this verification was because it's one of the more interesting 1.9 levels I've seen. The atmosphere in this level is so chaotic the only 1.9 level I think that comes close to it is reset your mind. I also kinda like how the gamemodes don't switch that much and the level feels like a gauntlet of 6 naturally defined parts.
