First time extended graphics on Lambda 8300
The Lambda 8300 is a ZX81-clone but without possibilities for pseudohires or true hires. The Lambda remained a textbased computer .... however....
The recently (may 2024) discovered quaracterdisplaymethod on the ZX81 is also working on a Lambda, making more graphics possible.
MUSHROOMMAN is now also ported to the Lambda 8300.

SP-2-MC10 can run TRS80 MC10 games but the data must be converted for the ZX Spectrum. This video shows how to do that.

Voor spoorverdubbeling is minstens 27m overgang nodig. Om deze ruimte te hebben moest het Schilderspad weg. Maar is dat zo? SP Land van Cuijk was altijd kritisch en hier is het bewijs. De werhouder heeft gezegd vanuit het hard 13,5m beide kanten op. Dat is nu gemeten

I am coding the boardgame SHOGUN with AI from the source for the ZX81 to the videopac. So far playermovement is possible. Now computer AI must be added.

I recently received this cart from Videopac Is @Live. It's great addition to my humble collection.
Glad you like it. It was my first (and still only) game I have coded on the Videopac. It was quite a challenge to reduce the stack to less than 16 bytes. The original version had a stack of 100 bytes. This version is also the reason why I recoded the game on the 1K ZX81. At this moment I am working on a new version of my Videopac-emulator on the ZX Spectrum.

I can solve it, but I made a wrong turn. The game is available in the net and soon as apart of 10 games in 1K on tape.
Opus show me an error message "no space in memory". Solution delete any more than one line to Basic list. Microdrive the same. I need use il motto "divide & conquer" or chop & hack a bit the basic list with a basic loader separated from the real basic interface. Wafadrive was a very waf**kdrive nightmarish to transfer. I delete more lines and modify the ramtop but I can put all into a wafadrive. Ice Felix hc2000 it gave me no problems instead. thats all. Thanks for all.
Frank, on sinclairzxworld version 2.00 is available with faster emulator.

Hi...Thank you very much for make a new version of your emulator. i like it.
Hope to release an even quicker version soon... I altered the storage of the flags and A-registr and added a mainroutine to all opcodes. This decreases the time needed for each opcode to be emulated.Now bugtesting it.
Happy New Years. The zx81 was my first computer back in the '80's (mail ordered from England for about 150 dollars). Loved that thing and wrote quite a few programs for it (even lost a few when the 16k memory pack shifted while typing). I had the thermal printer and a flight sim for it. It's been gone for several years but it's fun hearing about it again.
thx for helping to keep the ZX81 alive with all your new games that push the hardware to the limits.
Sometimes it is a real struggle to get the displayroutine working or to fit it in 1K. 16K is for losers ;]

The base is the same as DODGEMS. Here I have 12 backgrounds where a UDG is copied over. I can copy more UDG’s per background.

If you could add more features in 2k, remember, the Timex Sinclair 1000 had 2k of ram internally. Besides emulation I have a real one with the 32k ZXPand+, which, of course, would give you enough room to make the ultimate version.
Barry, first of all. I still have 470 bytes free (count 30 bytes for a stack). Second. In a 2K/16K version I can add a lot of levels. When I would alter the display I could add other movement of Daleks etc... in fact I could code a whole different game with the same base.
For 16k or more, remember the ram expansion has to be hires compatible. Fortunately my ZXPand+ is already hires compatible, but the stock 16k memory expansion would require a small hardware modification. Emulation is not an issue, of course.

Hi, we made an 8 bit binary to bcd converter using add3 circuits but it's not working properly. The outputs are always logic 1. We are guessing we don't have enough current in the circuit because there are so many IC's and wires and we're only using 5v. What can we do? Pls help. Thank you!
Hello Daisalyn, we used a 5V from USB telephone loader, no problem. I can sent you a scheme in XLS how we connected all ports. You need to ground when switch is open. Like this: 5v ------- switch -----+---- resistant ---- 0v Where the + leads to an input.
For a full 8 bit I needed 9 full adders.
you could always add more power by parallel power from 2 5V supplies.

This is only how BREAKOUT works. Each game has its own displaymethod. So still many secrets remain.

Tomas Bloemink, niet voldoen aan een vordering legitimatie (art 2b Ambstinstructie) en dan vervolgens op schrift dit wel verklaren was uiteindelijk voor de politie ook een uitgemaakte zaak. Beide BOA's hebben dit gedaan. Het OM mag beslissen. BOA kan iet vorderen als deze niet op vordering aantoont een BOA te zijn.
I worked on a scheme to make it 8 bits. After a lot of simulations I can make a 8 bit binary to BCD with just 9 full adders.
The number 4 on the units wasn't shown, but it works.
