I skimmed through Acts and saw the point the Oneness make about the connection between baptism and the name of Jesus. For that reason, I can respect their opinion. I can also see the potential danger that different groups can get themselves into When they attempt to interpret Scripture without the lens of the early Christians and continuing through church history concerning what they wrote and how their teachings endured through all the many heresies it had to deal with. IMHO, I have come to see that most Protestant groups, both Reformers and Restorationist, make the same error in that they attempt to view the church as it was as an acorn not realizing that an acorn grows into an oak tree. So, they look at the Orthodox and Catholic churches and reject them since they appears as oak trees and not as acorns. I would be more willing be on board with Protestant teachings if Jesus had left us a book before His ascension but, as we all know, He left us His visible church and that church taught orally then later wrote memoirs and letters to individuals and churches. Only much later did that same church determine which writings would be included in the Canon. Protestants seek God through the Bible. God seeks all Christians through His one visible Church and it's Sacraments. All Christians, unbeknownst to them, are members of that One visible church through their Trinitarian baptism.

Thanks for the video. It gave me a better understanding of Oneness Pentecostalism. From what I heard I'm the video, I'm sure OPs are familiar with the early church writings after the writing of the book of Acts and what they wrote about this topic. The Didache (70-90AD): "concerning baptism, baptize this way: Having first said all these things, baptize into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." (Some scholars date it as early as 70 AD. author unknown). Justin Martyr (155 AD): "For, in the name of God, the Father and Lord of the universe, and of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, they then receive the washing with water. (I had not before noticed Justin's words in detail as he describes Who God is: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This reminds me of the early church councils that settled the three Persons of the God head and the two natures of Christ). Since my favorite church period is the Apostolic Fathers which I personally place from circa 70-180 AD, I measure all modern teachings by what those writings reveal. I have found 4 criterion in those writings to judge the validity of all modern churches: 1) The Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. 2) Baptismal Regeneration including infant baptism. 3) A 3-tier church hierarchy of bishop, priest & descon. 4) The primacy of the church in Rome. Of course, I understand these are my criterion and that Oneness Pentecostals have their own criterion as do other groups concerning these and other topics. The video gave me a greater appreciation for Oneness Pentecostals and a clearer view of Modalism, Sabellianism and Monarchianism. A very intriguing and informative video. Thanks. Once you read it, understand that Gino does not do proper exegesis. He reads one verse and puts hyper focus on it. That’s not how you read or understand the Bible. The Bible is a mosaic. You don’t take pieces of the mosaic, put some pieces aside and then properly interpret a verse.

The right hand of God, does mean power and authority, it also means Jesus was literally at the right hand of God. Two distinct persons, As the Bible says.

I didn't like the fact that the host was dismissing each point as quickly as possible, the point David made about God exalting Jesus, implies that in a trinitarian view Jesus exalted Himself too, so it proves too much in their view if they were consistent.

The gospel doctrine, does not negate the trinity, nor does the doctrine of the trinity, teach that there are THREE Gods. So you are wrong Gino.

In the category of TRUE GOD, the Son ascribed the Father as the Only One in that category. Logically, that means the Holy Spirit is also not in the category. Here is the problem: The Son could have simply said the Father is the True God, without using the word “only”. If He had not used the word “only”, then YES, that would allow for both the Son and Holy Spirit to also be TRUE GOD. Why can’t the Father as the ONLY TRUE GOD share His glory with the Son if He wills that. I don’t get White’s argument. BTW - I believe in the Trinity. I just don’t understand White’s logic here.

"Lord" = King = Master = final prophet = high priest = intercessor = Lamb of God = Son of God = a mighty god = Jesus Christ = praise, honour & glory. "God" = LORD = YHWH = God the Father = "The" King of Kings = "The" Only True God = God Almighty = Worship, honour and Glory. Therefore every knee shall bow (in praise and honour) and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (in the way that I have just described) - NOT that he is worshipped as LORD, as if he is God Almighty himself. Another lesson, I didn't have to blow anybody's eardrums in order to explain this 😂

Jesus does NOT know ALL things. Jesus knows just about everything but he doesn't know the hour of the Second Coming of Christ; neither does he know who will sit next to him on his own judgement throne. Only God the Father knows the hour of the second coming and this distinguishes the difference between God the Father & the Son of God. This difference in knowledge reinforces what Jesus tells us at John 17:3 ; that God the Father is the Only True God. Jesus is a mighty god but God the Father alone is God Almighty
