I decided to 3D print some turbine blades to fit onto a brushless motor I had lying around. Unfortunately I didn't have the balls to run it at full speed. As for the design I originally had the blades but without the bracing to tie the blades together. When spinning those up they bent out significantly. This design is a lot more stable. Custom firmware and 3D printer overview

This video gives an overview of the 3D printer I built from scratch, and the custom firmware I'm writing. The 3D printer itself uses leadscrews instead of belt drive, and has a higher steps/mm than most 3D printers. This means the motors need to turn faster to move at the same speed. For this test I was also using a bench-top power supply set to 20V. This allowed me to achieve the higher speeds...

Controlling an RGB LED using a touchscreen from a nintento DS. One axis changes the hue, and the other changes the brightness.
I did this and had one literally fragment into pieces everywhere. Glad thing it didn't go into me. We found a piece about 100ft away. The rest just I guess just vanished unless it went into the ceiling. Lol.
