That’s not an F-4, it’s an F4U. “F-4” denotes the post 1962 designation system, which the Corsair never saw. Prior to 1962 the Navy had their own designation system of “aircraft role, serialization, manufacturer”. So F4U is “fighter, 4th type, made by Vought”.

I remember one year during S.F. Fleetweek, they had both the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds perform. It was an awesome show.

Probably either F-18 or F-35. Bit hard to tell from just the belly at that distance but I live near multiple airbases that run 15s, 16s, 18s, 35s, C-130s, C-17s, AWAKs, Blackhawks, Super Stallions, B-2s, B-1s, B-52s, and one of the only airbases in the US that stations F-22s domestically. F-35s are the loudest of the bunch as far as fighters go, F-22 and F-18 are close 2nds. The growl of the F-18 is so distinctive though once you memorize it you’ll be able to tell what it is even if you can’t see it. F-18s are way bigger than 15s and 16s, slightly bigger than 35s, and closer in size to the 22s but just off the way the tail and wings are shaped plus how long the nose is I’d bet money this is an F-18. Our military likes to only bring the 22s out if they’re REALLY needed or absolutely need to be tested and they would never test the F-22 over civilians and their land, at least not in the day time. I’ve only ever seen the non-stealth aircraft out in broad daylight unless there’s an airshow happening. I’m on the east coast and the only time we’ve had a 22 fly over us randomly was when a civilian plane entered DC airspace a few months back and bases scrambled their F-22s or F-18s to intercept (the sonic booms they made up the I-95 corridor from VA up into MD were front page news for at least a week)
