It took us around 8 hours 30 minutes. We travelled before monsoon, road condition overall was good that time, however there were some uneven patches, mostly between Satara, Pune, & lonavala.

In the month of Jan'23, taxi union charges for this tour was around 3.2k

Jab humne visit kiya tha tab under construction nahi thi, hum aramse shopping kar sak rahe the. Aur humne Jan'23 ke month me travel kiya tha.

Travel date was 1st Jan, 2023. Mausam thanda tha, lowest temperature at night was -1 degree aur max day time me 7-8 degrees tha.

But apologies for missing out on overall train review towards the end. Cleanliness was par if not the best when compared with other ICF trains & staff behaviour, as per limited interaction with them, was friendly. It was HA1 coach, so yes, split between 2nd AC & 1st AC. Lastly, again yes I read somewhere that coaches were expected to be changed to LHB from 27th November & this will improve cleanliness a lot alongwith journey experience. Anyways it was satisfactory for me this time as well. Hope I answered all your questions. Thanks once again :)

Yes, heard about that while doing our research and hence, we took longer route via Vellore & Ambur. It is longer as well as a state highway passes through cities and town, but road condition is much better. We will cover this road in the next episode.

@@veggieindians3126 Last 6 months, work is going on in a faster pace. 80% of the work is done, and some patches are still work going on. This route is very scenic, and you get to see the beauty of Jawadhu hills. Pass through Tiruvannamalai, one of the holiest place in TN

okay, sounds interesting, so next time when we plan journey in that direction, we will take this road. This time we were worried about the road condition, since our car Honda Brio has 165mm ground clearance only, so we chose that route only which is good in shape.
