@@Blissz3 “Meet me in Montauk!” was a main line in the film Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, which served as the main idea behind Ariana’s new studio album, Eternal sunshine, which is this way a “concept album”. Camilla also includes this whole concept in June Gloom. This concept is all about forgetting someone, deleting them from your memory and replacing, rearranging every memory, which is connected to this person in any way. Montauk was the place in the film where the lovers first met and while the man goes thru the memory deleting process he relives a memory on the beach with his girl. And before they say finally good bye the line “Meet me in Montauk!” is said. This means we should retry, after we deleting all this pain from our memory and we should go again to Montauk, to the place where it all began, and try again. The film is a masterpiece. I’m a huge Ari fan and now even Camilla used it and it sounds so effortlessly beautiful and peaceful and sad at the same time, just as it was on the beach in his last memory of one another.
