Crypto is volatile and we are in what is expected to be a bull run year. You have to look at your own situation and decide if you think A) the price of the crypto you are mining will go up B) You will sell at the right time C) the value of the equipment will go up (which it already has, I bought my machine preorder for about $1,300 so I could sell for a $1,000 profit right now) D) You'll be better off mining rather than DCA'ing or FOMO buying. DCA'ing you can lose money too depending on when you buy and sell. Long story short, it's 100% up to you if you think it's worth it to risk it

If they drop 95th units the. We will need a massive pump to save Kaspa mining for regular people. Unfortunately if that happens it will be very bad in the short to medium term for Kaspa miners. Timing of everything matters and is complicated. I would probably wait to buy more Kaspa miners until during the next bear market

Be careful doing electrical work. It can be dangerous if you're not sure what to do. You can probably find UA-cam videos on how to properly install a 240v on something like a dryer or electric range etc. They install similarly. I'm using a 30amp 240v breaker and a Nerd Gearz PDU currently. Like I said just be careful, do lots of research, and when in doubt just hire an electrician. Safety is the most important thing

@@GreaterGoodMining I actually found a lot of videos about how to properly do it on the meter box site that you linked. I'm going to wire it all up and ask my friend to come look at it and test it to make sure I've done everything correctly too. I would just ask him to do it but he just had twins and works all the time, plus it will be a good learning experience for me overall because I intend to get more ASICs in the future anyway. @ That's great, yeah if you have someone who can maybe help you get the right wire, plug and breaker etc and can check the work afterwards then you should be good. I hope it all turns out perfect and that you get hashing fast!

How's your wifi signal throughout your house? I have a wifi 6 mesh network and I try to use the app that came with it to optimize the network for interference every once in a while. So far mine has worked without any issues

@ I live in a 1 bed apartment so coverage is great haha. I have an eero network that I use for my mining closet that it won't connect to, as well as the network that came built into my unit

@mattbeesmer9318 hmm yeah the eero should be fine in a smaller apartment. Maybe you could try another Eero with an ethernet port and make it a small mesh network

Yeah I hate to say it but Goldshell have very inefficient miners usually when you compare them to Iceriver. The ALPH miners don't look great at the moment, but I don't think we have long before alt season kicks in and we see some pumps from the smaller cap coins. I'm not sure about Bitmain

Honestly you would be better off merge mining on a pool and collecting all of the different coins. I'm going to look into mining dutch because they have more coins on their pool

I just started mining with this machine so I havn't accumulated enough for payouts yet. But I did see the amount that was set was pretty high. I'm going to look further into it and see what other pools etc have to offer

@ yeah i still have two L7’s and i recently received my two L9’s but yeah i did not purchase any home script miner, i purchased AL2 Lites and KAS lite but man i hold off buying allot more big boy script miners because i was hoping Lokotech was real but live and learn!

@fullyelectric man I wish I would've bought an L9 instead of the last few Kaspa miners I've got. Lessons learned. Best to diversify!

I wish things were different for Kaspa right now. I feel like the price is being suppressed by exchanges so they can accumulate to list. It really left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths. I hope Kaspa rips soon so we can all feel vindicated! I still have high conviction for Kas!

@@GreaterGoodMining Yes, but I knew, with all the miners being built there was a good possibility of earnings dropping. Ditto other tokens such as Atica, Alph, etc. I mean, I could mine Bugna or something but still not earn...
