Photography has been my life since sharing a darkroom as teenagers with my brother Robert at our family home in Mosman Pk, Perth, Western Australia. As fate would have it, my Art Master at Hale School in the 1960's was Robert Juniper who went on to become one of Australia's most celebrated artists. Juniper's influence on my work is perhaps not visually apparent because of artistic medium differences but nevertheless he inspired my search to go well beyond what was considered 'normal' or 'expected' in photography.
