If you get accepted as a AMEDD officer program as a medical professional and you are in process of signing contract is it okay to be pregnant? Or will you have to re-apply? Can they just postpone your DCC and BOLC date?

I've watched a few of your videos where you talked about AMEDD, and you're videos are the only ones that explain it in depth. What I'm not sure about is the transition from OCS to AMEDD, because I did reach to an AMEDD recruiter, who basically told me they only do direct commissioning, so is that the case for all AMEDD stations? The job I am interested in is Clinical Laboratory Scientist (71E). I just want to figure out the best route to get there, or just find out if that is even an option. Also I'll be graduating with my bachelors in Pathobiology and minor in MCB in December. Any insight you could provide, would be greatly appeciated.

I'm planning to joining the Navy through OCS. I'm presently studying Marine Environment and Pollution Control in a Maritime University. First of, I hope my course of study wouldn't hinder me? Three doors: ENLIST, OCS,AMEDD. The first two require ASVAB. Officers need over a 70 AFQT and a 110 GT score to be eligible to come into the army as an E-4/Promotable during basic. After basic you are promoted to E-5 to attend OCS(as everyone in OCS is a SGT(E-5) or higher).

I see this video was posted 3 yrs ago - is there an age waiver now in 2020? I started this process many months before turning 48 and was told I could get an age waiver... sending packet to board next month so I guess we shall see. Thank you for this “awesomeness” video! It was very helpful!!

Why does the Army not have a scholarship for PA's but for every other position? Its ironic since the PA profession derived from the military.

If l become a officer in the military through rotc and get the hpsp scholarship can l go straight to med school or do l have to do active duty first.. I’m already in the National guard and was going to do the smp program if you know about that ..
