i don’t xim, valorant has a really good xim detection anti cheat.

@@Yumadboi yeah focus mode has a limit on the sensitivity you can use. It’s too slow to aim with. I would recommend learning to aim without it because there is literally no benefit or extra aim assist.

I came from top 500 console overwatch too, I was cooked but I tweaked my settings to feel kind of like dual zone. It’s a very different game so give it time.

I have maybe 30hrs on pc, I played casually tho so my game sense is still bad. It helps to some extent but i’m still new to the game compared to my time in overwatch.

R1 takes less force to fully press than R2 so you can click it faster which gives you a better chance at winning gun fights

@@Todd_LerfondleBecause u can customise the deadzone (how sensitive your stick is to motion) so a low deadzone causes stick drift

@@blurr_nf If you buy a bucky and wish to rotate elsewhere, would you try to take a ranged fight with your classic? Obviously not, you'd want to use a better secondary for that like a ghost or Sherriff. I dual buy to make up for the weakness of my primary.

@@blurr_nf Nah, too many people push me hyperaggressively to not be using a shotgun. It's also cheaper than a vandal/phantom lol. Even then, I'd still be caught lacking if I went for a ranged fight with a stinger.

for valorant because the TTK is so short by the time you pull out your secondary you’d already be dead. So even if your in a fight and need ammo you’d most likely always have time to reload if you have time to swap to your secondary. I find myself dying more because I have my knife out.

Without changing the setting, if you have your melee out you can tap to go to the last used weapon. And most of the times you will die before you can swap but it is better to be able to tap than have to hold, pro players recommend changing to your secondary instead of reloading because it is faster if someone whiffed a ton at you.

@@TheRealAether what i’m trying to say is you’ll die before you get a chance to pull out the secondary so it being on hold/tap makes no difference in situations where you can pull out your secondary, it’s not applicable to a game like valorant were it’s a 1-2 shot headshot for most weapons

Definitely, i’d recommend lowering the sens if it feels too fast to something you are comfortable with and then slowly raise it. It will build the right muscle memory for snappy aim.

@@TNYSL it already feels nice. I did raise my deadzone to something i feel more comfortable with but other than that, great settings
