Part of the reason Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis were cast is that they were non-passable. That is, it would not be possible in real life for anyone to be fooled by their cross-dressing. Do others agree?
It's true - we do see things in multiple images because we seldom keep very still as we look at people or things. We move and the people we're looking at move, so we see fractured images.

EVERY line he had in that scene is PLATINUM. Did you know they had to pace the scene differently and give Lemmon the maracas because during rushes people were laughing so hard they missed about half of the dialog?
