    I’m old school too! Need them receipts. I’m lucky, I get my gas at Shell and they text me the receipt to my phone and can print them out when I get back to the office. I actually get 2 receipts, I typically park in front of 2 pumps. One for the truck and the other for the trailer. Fill up the truck with mid-grade while filling the equipment with high-grade. Having separate receipts makes it easier to calculate for taxes. I log everything in excel spreadsheets and give to my cpa at the end of the year.

    What brand spreader are you using and how is it mounted onto the aerator?

    • @lllawnservice1587

      it's a Toro spreader that I had added to my aerator when I got it. Thanks for checking me out.

      @@fragglerock122 it does fine on the 36. I only use it for yards with really small gates that I can’t get my Toro aerator through. It’s great if you’re on a budget and you can’t get the 30 inch Toro aerator right away but it gets the job done so that you can make money on aeration. They do have a Toro 36 inch stand on aerator now but I think it’s still around 6 to 8K when I got the it was only $2400 at the time it might have went up in price. That the raider bailed me out A couple of times when my Toro aerator went down

    Thanx4sharing ur progress. The ice machine is really nice to have for making ur own bags of ice. As a solo guy also, I don't have a ice machine but I usually fill water in my igloo carry cooler half full, sat inside in deep freezer and by nxt day frozen block of water in cooler usually keeps all my drinks cold throughout whole day of cutting. That save me from buying ice bags. Stay safe big bro, and I'll catch ur nxt upload.

    For my zero lot line properties that are 6,000 sq ft or less, I charge $45 biweekly minimum in a low income neighborhood. I would charge the same for each of your units. I charge $125 minimum for badly overgrown units. I don't get much work and don't know what the competition charge and don't care. I know what it's worth for the quality that I provide and I slowly win customers over. I charge $60 biweekly for 1/4 acre properties and just talked with a potential customer that claims he's currently paying his guy $50 biweekly. I'm solo and want to keep my onsite hourly at $80 hr. Gross personal income (before taxes) is going to be about 55% of that $80 or $44 hr. If I spend 6 hrs per day onsite 4 days per week or 24 hrs week x 40 weeks season or 960 hrs x $44 hr = $42,240 yr ÷ 2080 hrs yr = $20.31 average hourly wage for the year. Working an additional day would only increase the average hourly wage for the year by 25%. This is why your hourly rate must be at a premium to survive based on the length of your season and the cost of living in your area.

      If you got the exact same one that I have , that mower was discontinued. The Troy built has a similar mower/model you might have to get a hold of them to see if parts are compatible. Thanks for checking me out.

      So far, I haven’t had any traction issues getting that back-and-forth on there doing the winter season. Traction has always been great. It’s probably due to the four-wheel-drive . Thanks for checking me out.

    Your cleanup fee is about what I would charge. The $110 per week, we could never get down here in SC. If we were fortunate enough to get it on a weekly basis, at best $85 per unit. Let us know if you get the property.

    I just bought a SG20 and what I did is changed out from that hard rubber hose that comes with the machine to the vinyl reinforced hose that you can buy at Lowe’s and you can set it up a little bit longer and it won’t put much stress on your hand and that’s why your hand is breaking. The hose is stiffer than the handle, peace grace, and peace

    Does it have a kit to stripe the way it does ?

    • @lllawnservice1587
      @lllawnservice1587 4 місяці тому

      There’s no kit on there. The Scagg stripes very well. It has to do with the build of the velocity deck. Scagg is one of the best striping machines out there they ranked probably one or two you also have to have good fertilized grass for the stripes to come out really well.

    Good work man. If you tilt your edger at a 45 degrees angle while edging it will make it look more crisp and easier to blow also might be able to skip it the next week depending on what season your in

    Why do you edge the opposite way? Wheel should be ont the side the concrete is on. Your barley getting and edge at all

    • @lllawnservice1587
      @lllawnservice1587 4 місяці тому

      Yeah, I had to correct that. I don’t use the edger that much. I rather use the stick edger/weedeater to make my edges. I always feel awkward on the sidewalk side when I use the edger it’s crazy. I usually use the edger to create some sort of edge and then I use the stick trimmer.

    They still sell this, now as the Craftsman M430 with front caster wheels, in red rather than the pro series yellow. I have one just like yours. Great mower for my 1/2 acre. My only gripe was the large openings around the spindles to deck mounting - this allows clippings and twigs to massively clog up the belt drive area. I fixed this myself by fabricating metal screens that still allow for airflow - but keep the belt drive areas clean.
