I’m in Vegas as well I have no idea where to look
South on Boulder Highway Nevada State Collage walk south east on Pacific Union Trail Cross over 93 11 highway on the rusty bridge In front will be R-10A reservoir Walk NE about a mile you will find valleys there OR Park at railroad pass walk up tp reservoir 10-A on (head North) Take a right East... Then start wandering about
Can the straps be replaced if damaged?🤔
Very cool. Where are these on display?
Unable to remember small aircraft museum ... ua-cam.com/video/ygLIsQa-EEY/v-deo.html Tank test target video link I think alongside the 25mm convectional DP was being tested
I shopped for many years using a handbuilt touring bike, fitted with a rear rack with the option of large or the smaller "Holdsworth" pannier bags. Tours on an adapted pre-war tandem with the larger panniers, a long flap saddle bag and a front bar bag were made in Spain and Crete. Keeping the weight low down on a rack just fitting over the rear mudguard is advised. I would not advocate the use of front panniers or wearing a rucksack on your back.
Relearning cycling as principle transport.. Enthesis is always recreation or racing Untill 1960 / 70s cars were a minority..this is planned to change. "Respect for making and using luggage for a tandem. " Coventry Transport museum has a cycle donated from gentleman who cycled to Australia to emigrate.. not taking advantage 0f £10 fare promotion.. 10speed Claud Butler canvas panniers
Someone please remake this beast, I know it can be done.
A couple of reviwes have said that if you are tall you should use the long version and if you are short you should use the short version. Im 6ft so do you think this matters?
I would suggest the long version....Lengths relate to body /back length .Most of .Weight is supported by hip belt.. Medium would likely be to just below 6ft... also neck to shoulder taper Sizing has changed over time .. men are becoming taller and bottoms wider .. if equipment is 1980s/90s heights were on average lower at that time. I am 6ft 2" ..one inch above and below waist extra Hope this helps
They had a small bench seat on either side that folds up to turn it back to a van only ever seen a few but can remember when I was a kid them being about 👍🇬🇧
What kind of firearms were used? The fact any made it through is incredible.
I suspect it was a machine gun type fitted to a gig firing single round there are several other such holes in different parts of the tank. Or .5 anti-tank rifle maybe to evaluate the potential of refitting aircraft with cannons specific to ground attack using DU. Looking inside the driver's hatch the round was sighted to evaluate what happens after penetration... It appears a fireball with wires burnt and fragments dissipated in the driver's compartment other rounds were through the side of the tank into the command center and engine bay... The engine has been removed perhaps before or maybe after the test firing... The Military channel UA-cam sometimes has russian drone footage.. it can be seen the drone is specifically directed at vulnerable areas of heavily armoured vehicles almost always from behind at engine A single shot from a rifle firing Dau seems to be sufficient to write off tank of the 1950s
I made my own in the 70’s.
Thanks Was it a kit ..Exchange & Mart .. were glass panels same size/shape..
It was cheaper for purchase tax reasons back in the day to buy a new van and then convert it to a station wagon. Then hope the powers that be don't pursue you for the tax owed. You could use any windows to choice but notice they don't open.
Very popular in the late 50s and 60s. A mate had one in 65., but didn't have the windows on the sides.
A model that apparently was produced only in New Zealand.
It’s been documented 220 Swift penetrated 1/2” steel plating from WW2 while 30-06 A.P. rounds merely dented the same target. It’s a fierce round. I’m curious to find if it defeats level 4 body armor or level 3a/3
Heres a video of a test target tank I found used to evaluate .1/2" depleted uranium round I think 60s-70s .. Note 45 degree vertical horizonal offset in total 6 inch armour plate ua-cam.com/video/ygLIsQa-EEY/v-deo.html
@ thank you 🙏
Beginning to think DU tests were for 20mm cannon ..DU core about 12mm inside 20mm round .. developed forward from Hispando WW2 cannon mounted on British ground attack aircraft
So far ahead of their time!! That bike was a weapon in the early 1970’s!
At Sammy Millar Museum ..Yes still good 50 years on.. alloy cast engine ..protected chain .. starburst cylinder head .. every detail well engineered.. form follows function .. used to drool over MX magazines from USA . .. I speak with Gordon Farley Team rider GB, 6 day event .. riding Triumph 650 .. MZ. & JAWA faster lighter
identico a quello che avevo nel 1976🤩 è in vendita?
I filmed it in a small museum ..I do not own it.. Small lightweight 2 strokes .. and the large engine 2 strokes are remarkable and powerful motorcycles.. that's the appeal and simple to maintain
Beautiful - I'd love to be able to see the inside
The houses that are being thrown up now will last about 50yrs before they need rebuilding.
Hopefully it will still be around in another 500 years.
Near to Odiham Castle (also known locally as King John's Castle) is a ruined castle situated near Odiham in Hampshire, United Kingdom. It is one of only three fortresses built by King John during his reign. The site was possibly chosen by King John because he had visited the area in 1204 and it lay halfway between Windsor and Winchester....perhaps this property replaced earlier building..there are some very old trees in an ancient forest in the area I discovered few years ago ..i recon of being 500 years also the Frenchman's Oak outside of Odiham so named because French soldiers of Napoleonic war were billeted to work the farmland..so a lot of accommodation needed..1 in 3 were involved with food production ! in the the growing ...interesting is 1/3 of worlds energy is used in food growing to eating
did you turn on stabalization ?
Yes seton medium.. kit zoom lens ..believe 12 32 f4 G100 is good .. I compared it with tripos studio image with G9 using 12 35 f2 lens on each camera .. no differ ace both pin sharp on 28 inch monitor... Both G100 and G9 suffer with the focus hunting ... IF..If G100 had phase focus as G9 now does ..perfect,, I use phone Xiaomi Pro 13 in 4 k excellent also phone has onboard editing I have been using since Jan 2024 ..Leica lenses 1" sensor..Leica colour profile ..and can edit and upload to Tube... no need for a computer.... I have1200 vids to see camera tests MotR
Thank you. Mine has been getting slower and stiffer and this is the first thing I have found with a solution.

It is an old cold frame light re-used as a non-opening window. Often found in former potting sheds usually on the north side of the wall of old kitchen gardens.
Nice video
That's a thing of beauty, a real working motorcycle. Not necessary to change anything (although out of personal prejucide, I would remove the fairing). Would like to hear it running.
@@williamnethercott4364 .."A thing of beauty" Is a joy forever... I had almost forgotten that saying... Filmed bike just up the road from Freddie Mercury's childhood home in Feltham
Thats a brilliant setup. Im doing something similar, running a Swedish built PW Vedklipp that spits and cuts in one operation. One day I will make a film
@@rockystonewolf I used a Palak cut and split ..limiting as only straight wood could be processed.. diameter of timber limited to about 250mm ..good point was conveyer belt that dropped processed firewood into bins ... Working with large diameter logs means a splitter is then only way., all sliding parts of splitter need regularly greasing
I also upgraded the system in my citan, i can confirm the fact that the factory sound system isn't great, so, i added separate tweeters on the doors and a subwoofer under the seat, now it sounds awesome
Yes it really upgrades the sound >>>A further improvement is ripping and using WAV instead of MP3 ... WAV being used in recording creates a far better sound equal to CD. I agree its well worth the effort ..and easier if you know what the work entails
There should also be a tiny + written inside the connector
Something I never noticed.. so used the 1.5 V battery method to determine which connector was positive..so identify which speaker tab was positive
I worked on air cargo for a few years and had no idea this was there let alone existed! Its an important monument as without it, the mapping of this country would`nt be as it is today! No doubt it had military origins. If you know where to look, you`ll find Trig points all over the UK as these must all be measured from this very point. Thanks for pointing it out.
Now attempting to find other end of base line...Monument is N of runway..Stanwell the Rising Sun Pub has early photos of heathrow area A SSI natural area these nearer Cargo area... Great West Rd has old carriage milestones (another of my vids). Also seek out Freddie Mercury Blue Plaque...site of famous Crooked Billet coaching stop and Bulldog Inn.. Vulcan Bomber crash ...
Just have to keep it super slow on roundabouts!
Totally unsafe no outrigers I'd say it was heath robinson but it doesn't look that good
Do one is Edinburgh, Scotland
@@sugarandspice6859 ... I'll start packing my bike.... Just think that before rail and train option to travel to Scotland was horse stage coach or sailing ship

Maybe the damage was accelerated due to freeze and thaw cycles at leaking gutter down spout? John in Bethel, Missouri. USA
You would absolutely love the glass houses at the lost gardens of heligan. I've saved a load of greenhouse glass and taught myself to cut it with the intention of copying the style
The glass when the bottom edge is fishtailed drips down the middle of the pane rather than the putty bead.
The erosion of brick in the corner indicates a less than adequate firing of the brick, I suppose. Is there a solution to stop the erosion on similar bricks? I have heard of a breathable coating that may be available. Would you have any suggestions? John in Bethel, Missouri. USA
Hi a breathable coating UK Ebay ..another option is a damproof injection fluid that prevents moisture rising from foundations , it works by changing the hydroscopic head of the brick ... converts an element created in fired bricks .. thus not allowing water to rise (wicking)...NOT to be confused with silicon. This product ..I attach. is I am thinking a type of silicon "Wykamol Enviroseal Water Repellent is an effective water repellent liquid based on a solvent free silicone/ siloxane emulsion for use above ground on porous brickwork, cement renderings, asbestos, cement/mineral boards, unglazed tiles, cast concrete, roughcast, stonework (including calcareous materials, i.e. those containing limestone), wood, canvas and leather. Surfaces treated with Enviroseal remain permeable to vapour so that moisture within the structure does not remain trapped. Enviroseal is clear and colourless and will not normally alter the appearance of treated surfaces. In some circumstances, however, very slight darkening may occur. Where appearance is critical, a small test area should be applied. It maybe a "snakeoil".. but worth a try
To some extent using what you have but with an eye to the finished appearance. I would guess that the rough cleaved rails are from coppiced poles of sweet chestnut: Castanea sativa. I am enjoying your discoveries.
Using what you have .. Holyhead library has local history books . "The island feeds me, shelters me, warms me, clothes and shoes me" .. perhaps not exactly remembered Thank you.. Freud said we all see the same things ..but few think about them .. Thank you for your comment ..glad I'm not alone R
Great little video thanks for sharing

Could be a old smithy or black smith or a repair shop for horse carts.
It would be interesting to know what type of goods where sold there may fruit and veg shop ? by to days standard its quite small. The census might give a clue who owned the shop and what it was used for.
let's see it open then....
I just got both the long and the short version (got the long by sellers mistake and was in the process of returning) Everything I read everyone recommended the short back version. I tried both. The short back version is extremely uncomfortable while the long back I got by mistake was really comfortable. Now I'm thinking keep the long version. the short back is grade 1 and nothing is broken but the shoulder straps are really uncomfortable. They keep sliding off to the sides and it I tighten them its restricts movement too much. Also I have the PLCE webbing and the long back is still better. Am I doing something wrong with the short version?
Has character. Nice find.
That whole street needs re-pointing. Lots of damaged bricks too.
Salting in winter causes bricks to flake.. salt is absorbed and damage begins .. Tesco Superstore built of hard engineering bricks suffering salt damage at footings.. new variety of thawing salt is concentrated and agressive
Have to love the colour of the place. Very rarely get shops like this anymore.
It is a beautiful building - but it is definitely Flemish bond on the front. 🙂
Buildings in this area can have English bond with Flemish Corners.. courses below soffett can can be English and below from ground up be Garden Wall ... The bonding changes often it is not same top to bottom or side to side... Some terraces on slopes start as 2 floor and rise to 3 floor Ridge remaining level along length of terrace.
Americans will look at this and think this shed is a family home
What a charming little shed. ❤ Unfortunately it's at risk of some developer from outside the area looking for a fast buck who will destroy it. Build a monstrosity. Then disappear. Happens all the time.
What a survivor! ❤
