You're incorrect on the XLR ports.. they are not input but output for audio only.

Every person who has had a component stereo has connected has connected the cd player to the amplifier and the amplifier to the speakers. It's not too hard. There is absolutely no sense in having a Bluetooth cd player and a Bluetooth turntable makes even less sense.

Hello! I own the UB420 JUST bought a new Denon AVR-3800H to maximize my 4K TV Viewing..thought about getting the UB820 but would it make any differance in my pic quality?

Just a suggestion - For TV's between 43"-50" , please consider reviewing it as a monitor too. Lot of folks buy TV's at this size for a monitor as a budget alternative.

What about subtitle settings? I hear there is a brightness setting.

How about reviewing upscaling from DVD and standard bluray ? How does the upscaling compare to upscaling done by a TV ? How about noise levels on the fan and the reader ?

erm why is there condensation on the screen?

I cannot get volume working when using Prime and UA-cam app. Volume works great when playing a DVD. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have tried these settings & others yet the Image is extremely dark on my LG C4. Tried standard, cinema & film maker mode all still dark. Having to use the 'Light Environment' mode in Panasonic HDR settings.

I think you are missing the point, it is a truly portable TV that can pick up terrestrial channels. I have bought one to use when I’m camping and will power it with my solar power bank. Many times you cannot get WiFi when you are camping so a proper TV will be an excellent thing to have. I will use this alongside my iPad, not to replace it, but to give me another option. I found the picture quality and sound to be perfectly acceptable, again if you are camping you can’t expect Dolby surround sound and full HD tv picture quality. Very poor review I’m afraid and you failed to mention it comes with a 12v charger cable as well as a standard plug, so taking it on long car journeys won’t be an issue. I am looking forward to sitting in my bell tent in front of my wood stove having a cup of tea and a bite to eat whilst watching my TV. I am actually quite impressed with this little TV when you consider I paid £80 for it, I think it actually punches well above its price bracket. Incidentally I have plugged in a full size TV in my tent….. but it’s a smart TV, I couldn’t get WiFi so it was effectively a useless piece of plastic. If you are going to review products you have to compare apples with apples. This little TV does what it says it does, it is fully portable, it picks up TV channels and the picture and sound quality are perfectly adequate.

I've had nothing but constant problems with this player. I got it a few months ago and oh my God I get freezing. Skipping. When I eject a disc and put another one in it won't read it I have to power down and then power it back on. Ugh. What a waste of money
