As a women experiencing painful periods seeing these men joking about it really hurts . Every fkn month i cant get up from my bed. 0 energy. Diarrhoea, fatigue, vomiting,pain all are together. Just my opinion - instead of having weekends off , we can provide flexible days of holidays for everyone. So that in case of women instead of having weekends off she could take 5 days leave when in a month during her periods or otherwise whenever required.

For some women it can be difficult , but most women will misuse it . To avoid that , we can may be work on any other week end in order to compensate for the number of period leaves taken . If not it is gonna be highly misused . A women who get serious on week end will also take this leave on week day as the provision is there . 2 days every month is equal to 24 days a year . After all week ends , public holidays , CL the total number of working day in a general IT company would be around 225 days . 24 days of additional leave means more than 10% of working day already .
