Yes, the island is reversed.

Besides the 054A (which I painted in an earlier video) I think I will paint at least one more and make a video of the whole process. Right now I am painting "something else" which will probably come out after the ship reviews.

That's why near the end of the video I said it WAS a powerful cruiser in the 80s - nowadays new weapons like supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles and drones pose a serious threat to these big ships.

Ha ha thank you very much for clearing my doubt! When I was building this model, I spent hours checking pictures on the web but the gun has many variants and look different in each picture so I could not make up my mind; finally I chose to follow 4D's instruction which was wrong (when it comes to a 50-50 situation I always pick the wrong one 😂) This is not the first time 4D make mistakes in the instructions (e.g., Avatar AT-99, KrAZ-260B cargo truck, Arleigh Burke class destroyer...), if you find out more please let me know! 😊

@silentprotagonist5562 haha it might, not sure. What puts me off for a lot of the ships are the scales that are all over the place. This one in 1/700 is relatively comparable to other brands.

I think they do this "make all ships 16cm long, regardless of the scale" thing because some ships (mostly subs) will be too small compare to other ships and less attractive to customers. This makes it hard to display the ships together though.
