    Curious, what color or combination of colors do you use for your “cookie batter”? Not necessarily just this video but once I’ve seen you do before. Particularly gingerbread color. I struggle with those. I’m terrible about knowing what colors to mix other than the basics. And I know I’ll hear people say stuff like too much yellow in that blue or whatever. Just curious if there’s an easy way. I do have a color wheel, but I don’t know if I’m using it incorrectly, basically don’t know how to use it at all or it’s not the tool i actually need. I really don’t know if I’m properly conveying what I’m trying to say.

      @brietistic 7 днів тому

      @@MichelleJ1822 I use a ratio of beige clay, yellow clay, white clay, and transparent clay, in all about the same size and then I mix it together! For gingerbread color I use burnt sienna colored clay

    dude. wait till youre pushing 40 and the person you were so into in high school tells you how much he was into you, at the same time and you're both this way with overthinking and second-guessing and thinking people flirt as a joke because how could anyone like you for real?! and now you're both across the country from each other with kids and just like... fuuuuuu.... (dont get me wrong, i adore my kids and he adores his. but ... man. those feelings come back hard sometimes.) just 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

    I love making miniatures SO much!!! I’ve been watching videos for years but actually just started making my own creations two or three years ago so I’m still relatively new. Had so many hobbies over the years. I’m 50 now but when my girls were little, I was doing scrapbooking. And then a little over 20 years ago I started cake decorating. Then I wanted to learn to do nails and bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff. And they have literally sat in their boxes. Then I wanted to learn to do tumblers. Bought more glitter than anyone could imagine. I also do Mandalas. I like doing them on canvases, but I also like doing them on rocks I have stuff to learn paper quilling. Mosaic things like doing flowerpots and what not. Haven’t actually tried any of those yet either. But the one I have stuck to the most consistently has been the polymer clay miniatures. But something else I really like doing but is very tedious and time-consuming is Perler beads. For those of you who might not know they are the ones that you put on a pegboard in a certain pattern and then you essentially melt them together with an iron. There’s obviously more to it than just that, but that’s basically what you do. Love love love doing it. But like I said, it is very time-consuming and tedious. But one nice thing about some of the different art things I have done over the years is that some of the supplies will tie in with another type of art. Like I can use the paints for doing polymer clay and also mica powders, and some of the other, things like rhinestones and whatever that I use for Nails. So fortunately not everything will necessarily be unused. And of course, some of the stuff from cake decorating or scrapbooking. So that has been nice! And I also work with resin. Mostly mixing it up and then adding glitter or whatever and pouring it into a mold. I’ve got quite a few silicone molds. But something else I would love to learn as well is homemade soap!
