What if your school is in Carmichael and isn't served by public transit. SmaRT ride doesn't count. I have to take the 38 to the Gold Line to the 84 to the SmaRT ride if I were to use SacRT to get from Tahoe Park to Jesuit.

Wasn't this tried before? There are segregated bus lanes and signals on Watt Ave. between U.S. 50 and Folsom Blvd., which were abandoned when the 80 line was discontinued.

The new Siemens S700 trains here are wonderful and will make a game changer for SacRT and save more than spending so much fixing the old trains. This way SacRT can save and use it to expand its light system as its system is lacking not getting you to the other main half areas like one to the Sac. Intl. Airport. and towards Roseville. However, there are two downsides to it. One downside is that the station(s) platform could have been better to rise at all door steps instead of needing the deployable ramps on the two middle doors. Some other transit passenger rails had already stopped using the deployable ramps due to when not working or damaged the cost of fixing it. The second downside is that the new trains' horn blower seems to be way much lower and pretty scary when someone can't hear the horn blowing.

Out of all the times I've heard about different cities getting new rail transit vehicles, I don't think I've ever heard one say that they're being made in the same city. That's pretty cool.

Can you make a video showing riders how to use the bike racks on CAF trains? I had another rider help me and it was so much nicer than having to hold my bike the whole time, but the racks are a bit confusing.

You need to focus on the video title and descriptions. Push more related tags for the video and channel. Use high-converting thumbnails. Then it will grow. When I rode RT in the 1990s for the very first time, I got fined for not having a ticket. I didn't have one because for every other tram I'd been on in the world, the fare was paid on the tram, not at the stop-that's one of the main differences between trains and trams (or 'street cars' in US English™️). So I'm happy to see the policy in this video. But now in the 21st century, why confuse passengers with complicated apps, when more and more of the world's transport systems simply require customers to tap their payment cards, like for buying anything else? I know the US still uses cash and sometimes even cheques, but seriously, we're well into the '20s, so why still make it hard for ordinary customers? Systems that automatically cap fares for weekly and monthly use are commonplace now, so why do RT customers need to download some weird app and stuff around with proprietary payment cards?

I’m excited. A big reason I don’t take my bike with me is because the current cars have really steep steps. The raised platforms they’ve put down so far could use some work, but it’s a start. Excited for the new trains! Hopefully you guys can keep the cars and stations (relatively) clean
