To put salt on the wound they made him suffer horribly at the end. To fail really sucks, but he at least was ready to risky it all. That was one of the best and most thought provoking writings i ever seen, the "why do i long for humans so much" really stuck to me, makes me think of human programming by nature too and if we should overun it. This plot is so original, makes me think what kind of life the androids would create after humans, after their parents and gods, they need to sort of "grow up", they need to let go of our influence and make their own world. I really wish to see them creating their own original form of life. This was also scene that gave compeling reasons to not delete all human data, that was too much beauty and great creations from humans and i guess good memories from the relationships with the androids to throw all away, you wouldnt do that with your life, you really understand A2 here. Brilliant writing to make both valid choices.

Dunno what it is but English VA in Japanese games is always weak. The Japanese 9S in this scene sounds horrific. His screams are intense and unsettling. The English is… meh…

I remember, when I got to this point and was asked to choose, god, how I struggled. I decided not to replay it to get the alternative ending, so the story would be wholesome for me. And I knew, that A2 is on the right side of things and as a human being looking at it from a perspective of course I should have chosen her. But I was playing for Nines the last part of the game. This whole tedious quest, going from one tower to another wad kinda boring gameplay wise. But the descend into madness on the way was executed absolutely perfectly. It is really an outstanding game direction that lets you feel character emotions so vividly. So, I decided to follow 9S to the bitter end. For me, their personal story was more important that all this humanity BS.

Seeing the struggle between 9s and a2 made me think they should make a mod where the characters are replaced with bluey being 2b, bingo being 9s and muffin being a2 because she's a little brat
