Do we not get to see the fake announcers too, so we can see La Tour Eiffel behind France, Graham?
Slovenia finishing third...a dream😢😂
These hosts are like a breath of fresh air after what we saw last week in Sweden.
I saw it on YT literally year after it was released
Well i didn't knew that can't believe it 12 months ago
ARMENIA Would've been a very good winner in 2023
YESSSSS ARMENIA IS THE WINNER... OF THE REHEARSALS
Time traveller: *kicks a rock* The timeline:
❤❤❤❤🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲
lmao the only time I saw Armenia on top on ESC
0:19 my reactions to Sesame Street wins the Hulu election
Imagine Serbia really got 5th/6th place :( Sad he didn't
This is fab. So they normally have a tie in at least one rehearsal in order to practice it. It's also a rehearsal for the stage crew as they have to obviously bring back on any one of 26 staging setups. The floor manager did say the fake winners would be those with complex staging. Knowing Loreen was highly likely to win, this was a good way of practising such a situation - so you had Mae Muller fake win on the Friday night so the crew could rehearse getting all her kit back on.
Interesting
They are lying
I think Australia should have won
I want more stand in rehearsal clips.
I love her 😭
im confused, what is this?
One of the many repetitions !
this was so cute <3
bruh
Wow
Wasn't the tie break most 12 points?
it was but they changed it some time ago
It still is the tiebreaker if both teams got the same amount of televotes aswell. @@SuperCatman
I saw this live and OH MY GOSH it was hilarious!! Italy was so funny every time they panned the camera to him we all cheered! And the girl that represented Armenia was born to win, she went on to perform Armenias act with the props and everything, honestly it was such laughs! 🤍
Where did you watch the live?
@@theworldofteddies-aris9204 I saw it in person in the M & S bank arena in Liverpool!! 🇬🇧
Same honestly it was hilarious especially when the lady from Armenia had to do the winners performance
same here, it was so worth it... Eurovision and a comedy sketch at the same time 🤣
Spain...THE LAST
Thank God something like that didn't happen because that's a very anti climatic way to break a tie, although it would have been fun to hear those whoos in anticipation
OHHHHH- I was like “I don’t remember Hannah’s his being so messy” 😭
Was this from the grand final preview show ? I saw another clip and Armenia (fake won) but it wasn't from this show. I had to leave early from the grand final rehearsal as I had to get back home to watch the actual live final! Wish I could have seen this it's hilarious XD, I can't imagine a tie in the real contest (I mean a four way tie has happened before but with the new system it is highly unlikely, but still possible)
I wonder if they chose to do a tie-break in the rehearsal in anticipation that Sweden and Finland would tie? It seems like a pretty unusual scenario to prepare for
I believe they do a lot of rehearsals with different scenarios
They just do it with random countries mostly, Ig it would look weird if they even rehearse with the most possible winners
It doesn’t seem like an unusual thing to prepare for at all
@@jaredsmith4964 but the chances of a tie are vanishingly small, no? I was just wondering if they'd have done this if they anticipated a runaway winner
@@EdJonesVideos I feel like they probably rehearse it every year just in case
Omg she is living my dream 😭
same
Is this real?
That's a rehearsal, they have to do fake votes
Yes
No, this is just a rehearsal
Its a real rehearsal!
Yes and no. There are three full dry runs before the show, two of which are open to the public.
Dude, I love her hair lmao
Rehersals, cool, but are these spectators actually audiences? How did they get in if thats the case?
Yeah so this show was on friday night and they play a mock version of the results. You could buy a ticket for the show the day before!
@@markjones235 this looks like the show that was on the Saturday morning before the show. The Friday winner was the UK
I can confirm that the audience was an actual audience because I was there!! But yeah it was the rehearsal on the day of the grand final and tickets were available on Ticketmaster before the show :)
Since when is it the rule that televote decides the winner? I mean, it probably wouldn't make much of a difference since this situation is so unlikely, but hasn't it always been like Graham said (the coubtry with the most 12 points, 10 points and so on wins)? This rehearsal sounded like he just made up that rule in the second he got asked for the resul😭
It is the first in a list of tiebreakers; the points system works exactly as you said (country with the most points wins) BUT if two countries have the same amount of points scored then the winner is decided by whoever scored more points from the public vote (as long as that is not also equal between the two countries, in which case they move on to the next tiebreaker down the list until one of them is able to decide who is the winner).
It has been the rule since 2016
@@relativokay4 Omg youre right hahaha sorry I kinda forgot since we don't have that situation lol
this has been the rule for a while, the winners have just never tied before. a good example would be greece and bulgaria in 2021, bulgaria got less of the public vote so they missed the top 10.
@@northcub they did in ‘69, but they didn’t have a rule in place I don’t think
I was so confused watching this
I still am
It’s like rehearsal
This what would of happened if there was a tie breaker
There was a 4 way tie in 1969 I believe. There wasn't any tiebreaker so in that year there was 4 winners. I imagine it'll be something like that and it'll be up to the EBU to decide who hosts next year
@@solitudeutauloid9037 They kinda already chose before the finale :P Didn’t want to admit it, and Loreen is great and all, I’m happy with her winning, buuuuut.. She was obviously gonna win, the jury wanted it Doesn’t mean it was rigged though, Sweden literally got 2nd in televote
The Eurovision 1970 was the Netherlands no idea of how the EBU was thinking who hosted that year!
@@solitudeutauloid9037 they literally say in the video that the winner of the tie is the one with the highest score of the public vote. there's an extensive tiebreak procedure now unlike in 1969.
@@solitudeutauloid9037 If there is ever a tie nowadays, they'd see who got more points from the televoting. If the even rarer case applies that they both got the same amount of points, they will see which country got the most 12 points. If THAT number is still exactly the same for both countries (which is statistically impossible) then they'll see which country got the most 10 points, 8 points and so on. If it should ever happen that two countries STILL have the exact same amount of specific points, then the winner will be whoever performed first. Something like that happened this year in the second semi final. Both Romania and San Marino got 0 points, but Romania performed before SM so they are 15th while SM is 16th, although the official results say it's the other way around for some reason.
Im so confused what is this
Rehearsals
Hang on, the scoreboard correctly showed the tie-break tie straight away. We knew it wasn't going to be Australia.
The scoreboard is already programmed with the maths done
@@jayevans28 I'm assuming it's alphabetical, not done by math in the background.
@@davidmcalpine5327 I've seen a rehearsal of a tiebreaker in 2013 where Iceland won, and was automatically at the top. As well, there was another glitch scenario this year where the spokesperson gave the wrong 12 points, but it shows the correct country recieving them so I think it's preprogrammed
@@jayevans28 of course it’s pre-programmed! Then what’s the point of Martin saying it was looked into and we have a winner, meaning that they did the math.
The maths is programmed into the software. Even back in 1991, a notoriously chaotic production that ended in a legit tie, the software had worked out that Sweden won over France.
Finally Armenia won 🇦🇲❤. 😂😂
Sorry to break your joy but these were rehearsals, Armenia didn’t actually win
@@fadingblack272 ik that's why I put "😂" in the end
... umm ... this is not a 2023 Eurovision ... ... @Pórir '-' ok...
It's footage of the host rehearsals :D
Armenia deserves to win 🥰
Grand finale happened weeks ago, Sweden won and armenia wasn’t in the top ten. Not to be aggressive
@@fadingblack272 I'm a Eurovision fan and I do know all the details about ESC 2023. Just I mean that Armenia was underrated this year and deserved to be in top 10 at least.
@@zepiuripranosian3392 agree! her performance was amazing and the song is incredible too; def one of my faves this year
If only that would happen
lol those rehearsals seem so fun (chaotic, but in a cool way)
