A terrible disturbing song

I've always really appreciated the boys and their music. And this song in particular always takes me straight back to my youth at the beginning of the 80s... But let's be honest... Here they sound like a dance band at a village festival, where they have shove chopped Valiums up the boys' noses instead of Speed...

never fails to amaze and inspire

My friend, Alan , was their road manager for many years. I was fortunate to meet the band many times and visit Dave at his pub in Somersham. Baz and Dave played at our local pub for my ex husbands 45 birthday and Baz sang “Alison” by Elvia Costello just for me … my name isn’t Jane. Many many happy memories of people who are no longer here. An amazing band.

One of the first rock concerts I went to was 10cc, in 1975, at the now long gone Free Trade Hall in Manchester, the group's hometown. An underrated band that was probably too complex for most.

I was at this gig. My Dad, who had picked me up after my first Stranglers gig at the Apollo in July 1980, had only a few weeks to live at this point. When they played 'Never To Look Back' I was in fucking bits.... I love you Dad.
