Awesome video and stunning photos- what an adventure, great work 👍
Excellent video. Thank you.
Hello Dermot Its Me Joshua Wepper.
Great video!!!
Nice trip id love to ride it one day. Did you record a . gpx file for it? Thanks
I deleted my GPX files but you can buy them from The National Trail online with guide books. They'll give you all the information and inspiration you need.
Hi Mr Blackwier This Is Joshua From T1 (Your Class)
Hey Josh, I hope you enjoyed the video.
Loving these videos, we will be trekking our horses on the BNT later in the year and your videos are both inspiring and encouraging, thank you :)
Nice video Dermot. Thanks. I better source some panniers for my touring rig.
Big thanks for the tour. I am watching this from Finland in hopes of doing this trail one day. Still trying to figure out if horse or push bike is the preferred method of transport. At least it seems the pace is a bit faster on a bike.
Very much enjoying your adventure. Super good coverage of the BNT.
Found your calling card on the wooden post at Sandy Creek BNT Camp ;)
Can't wait for the next one.
Hey mr Blackweir, not sure if you remember me but I was one of your students back in 2018:) hope you’re doing okay and having fun with travailing!
Hi Ismahan, of course I remember you! You were a wonderful student and it was a pleasure to get to know you for a short while. I hope you’re going well 😀
Hi Mr B it’s me Kevin :)
Good on you Mr B! You are doing really well on your journey!! 👏🏽👍🏽 please take care & stay safe. Lots of luv & support from isma & Latifah ☺️💛
Heeey Isma and Latifah, thank you, it's lovely to hear from you. How're you going?
@@dermotblackweir1971 Hi Mr B we are doing great! We have moved to Cannington now. Isma loves high school & made heaps of new friends at her new school & isma is doing so well at school, she is the only year 7 studant to be in all the highest classes! Im so proud of my isma! 😍🥰 isma misses you as her science teacher because she liked how you would explain things nice & clearly! How you would explain to the class about a topic & broke it down so it was easier to understand. 🤓 isma was so sad when u left cos she said u was the best science teacher she ever had!! 😔😞😊💔💖
Loved the video of the trail. Again, good to see the country through another's eyes.
Thanks Catherine, I really enjoyed it. Lots of variety.
Only just catching up with the next instalments. This was through my home territory, nice to see the country through another's eyes. Getting to the top of Kroombit up the Western Razorback fire trail - probably pushing the loaded bicycle up some of it - is no mean feat!!
Yep, there was a lot of pushing and pulling to get up Kroombit Tops!
Hi Mr Blackweir! from Dante.
G’day Dante, it’s good to hear from you. I hope you had an exciting summer holiday!
Wow.. awesome
Cheers Victor.
Looks great. I started planning the trek on my bike today. Lots of things to think about, including if my bike is appropriate after looking at your video. Very helpful
You’ll definitely need something that can roll on loose rocks, dirt, gravel, mud, sand, paddocks and bitumen.
Wonderful footage mate. I'm thinking of packsaddling the National trail and your adventure is very encouraging. Safe travels 👍🙂
Go for it!
Awesome stuff, Dermot! Great camera work, great photos, and there's that smile again! It's good to see parts of the Trail that so far have only been lines on a map and directions in a Guidebook, or even country I've flown over looking down on and thinking how tough it'd be to walk. I know only a very little of where you've been in this section, but you'll be getting into more familiar country for me from here on. I'm looking forward to seeing it through your eyes.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
